A four star rating for my most resent drive-thru experience was surely a mistake. The cashier at the window had trouble making change, for starters. The vanilla shake & fries were tasty- that would be the only 4 star part of the meal. By far, the most unpleasant aspect of this meal was the hot dog. It looked good and should've tasted great, except it was graveyard, stone freakin' COLD. Like it was just pulled from the refrigerator cold... Not, "it- set-out-too-long and cool off" , but "it-was-never- cooked" cold. Of course, I was headed south on Highway 6, when I bit into it and discovered that little fact. Too far to come back, so I just won't trust the high school aged staff to properly prepare a simple snack in the future. It's hard to screw up a milk shake and the fries were hot, so there was something warm to eat, but the hot dog was a real disappointment. Typical unsupervised teenagers, not able to manage a simple order. Maybe a manager needs to check the outdoing food and employees attempting to make change. I caught the money screw up and you can bet, IF there is ever another drive-thru order, everyone in line behind me will be waiting, until I check the food to make sure it's actually cooked. On the up side, when I arrived home, I cooked the no so "hot" dog and fed it to my dogs. They appreciate warm food too. Kinda expensive for no main course for me and a warmed up main course for my dogs. Only...
Read moreThis was my favorite Freddy's. I'll never go back. When a customer calls with a complaint and the so-called manager tries to diagnose you as "something must be wrong with your day" and "well, what is it that you want me to do" and "I was standing right there" it's just easier to leave the line.
The person taking my order could not hear me so I said, "no, and continued with my order. I'm hoarse. I've been outside all day. The young lady taking my order then said "you don't have to yell at me." I then explained "I wasn't yelling. You couldn't hear me. The car in front of me will not move up so I can get next to the speaker. I spoke up. I then said " you know what? Never mind, and I won't be back." And I won't.
Maybe it was your help that was having a bad day as there was some kind of a car show going on and you were packed. I was having a good day until I was reprimanded for speaking louder so she could hear me.
I truly am sorry if I sounded rude. But when I said I was leaving she said " well have a great day." No apology after I explained I was stuck behind the speaker. If that's how much it matters then it's good to know.
I might as well be talking to the air. It doesn't really matter in the whole scheme of things, but you lost a customer that frequented...
Read moreIt was our 1st time to dine at Freddy's. I have to be honest with you, I wasn't impressed, let me tell you why. When we arrived it was busy, it must be good was my thought. We waited in line for about 20 mins. r so. The wait was not a calming experience to say the least. The place was so loud, kids screaming bouncing everywhere music playing orders being called on the intercom. We finally got our hamburgers were blessed with a booth to sit and eat our meal. When my husband sat the food down, I ask did you tell them you wanted the chili to go? He replied yes, however it was not packaged for travel. The onion rings were not what I expected. I got the feeling that Freedy's were known for their onion rings. They were frozen thrown in hot grease and cooked. They were soggy with grease, the burger was different but I could eat it, not what I thought it would taste like but,not a total loss. I really expected so much more why, I wanted a new place that had great burgers and rings to frequent. I will continue to look for just that because Freddy's did not fit the order, not for us anyway. I wish you luck on your trip to Freddy's. Hey maybe it was just the wrong night. Monday's not a Freddy's night try Tuesday you...
