Kolache Rolf's — Restaurant in College Station

I have been coming here for quite some time to get the Slovacek with cheese kolaches and other flavors. The kolaches always taste great but the service has been lacking and most recently, I have had issues with their punch cards. I have been using their frequent buyer card that says buy 9 get 1 free. Sounds great, but it is not as great as it should be. They give you one "hole punch" per visit. So, if you go 9 times and buy 3-4 kolaches each time, you get 1 Kolache free after buying 27-36. That is NOT a good deal. I asked the employees and they told me that this is their policy to give one punch per visit. I I have been patient in a response from the owner but am tired of waiting. I called all 3 locations for Rolf to call me and he has never returned my call. You have lost all of my future business and referrals from me... all because you will not return my call. I love Kolache Rolf's so much! Typically, I order online but we finally came in person this morning and it was amazing! Its a cozy little restaurant located in a shopping center, and I loved the art on the walls. The kolaches are super filling and very affordable. I loved the raspberry filled and the bacon and cheese ones! My fiancé usually orders the jalapeño, ham & cheese ones and he likes them a-lot but wishes they had more filling inside. I also love the cinnamon rolls! I microwave mine when i order online but in store they heat them for you!! I also love to get the chocolate milk & my fiancé likes to get the cranberry juice. I get why this is a local favorite! Stopped in for a quick bit before heading to the airport after visiting my son. I wanted to know what the hype was in the area. Omg. First, I really don't like super sweet pastries and fillings. The thought of eating them makes me sick. BUT I gave these a try and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't that horrible sugary filling you're used to getting in most pastries. This was very satisfying. I also tried one of the chicken rolls (because I don't eat pork). Happy to find something I could eat and enjoy.
