First of all, I would like to say that I am posting this review under a fictitious name in order to maintain my anonymity. My husband and I got lunch today from the drive thru at this particular Arby's. We proceeded to park our car in one of the vacant parking spaces in their parking lot. We then ate our lunch inside of our car. About 3/4's through with finishing our lunch we look up and see numerous police and police cars along with other emergency vehicles across the street. Amongst ourselves we continued to discuss what in the world could be going on. After we finished eating our lunch, as we are cleaning up, we look up to see a police officer knocking on the driver side window of our car. My husband immediately rolled down his window to address the officer. The officer stated to us that we needed to move our vehicle and get off of the property immediately. We still do not understand why we were asked to leave. He asked my husband what his name was and then he asked to see his driver's license. Then he proceeded to look at our license plate. We were completely dumb founded and had completely no idea as to what was going on or why he was giving us such a hard time! And we still do not know why! After he gave my husband his license back I then asked him if there had been some kind of an oil spill or gas spill of some sort. After I asked the officer this question he acted as though he was upset with me for asking the question and then he asked me what my name was and asked to see my I.D. I told him my name and that I do not have any I.D. on me because I am in the passenger seat. Then my husband spoke up and said, "this is my wife". He then seemed satisfied with this answer but continued to be abrupt and rude with us. I have to say that the lunch at this particular Arby's was pretty good. However, it was not worth the harassment that my husband and I experienced today. We do not know this officer's name. But, he was African-American and a little on the stout side. After being treated so abruptly and with such disrespect when completely innocent and totally oblivious to what was going on around us we now understand personally why so many individuals in this country view police officers as hostile and abusing their authority! Believe me when I say that this was a real eye opener for us as we are conservative republicans! I hope that whoever reads this will know who this officer is and report him to his superiors. We do not want anyone to lose their job. However, this particular officer needs some more training in regards to people skills and how he communicates...
Read morePulled up to drive thru. No response. I had to get their attention by saying' "hello?" Ordered a large French dip combo. They asked if I wanted large fries...yes I ordered a large. Pulled around to window. Paid for order. Told "pull up" no explanation no wait time. I responded I'm good. Another employee comes to tell me pull up. I asked how long it will take he said I don't know. I said I'll wait at the window then. He yelled for manager. After 10 minutes I thought I got my order. They basically throw the bag at me and say nothing and close the window. I check order at window before pulling off no fries. I knock on window. Ask for fries They grunt and shrug. I open sandwich wrapper. They gave me ONLY HALF OF THE SANDWICH. I demand manager. He informs me he made the order and smiles at me. Manager's name was "Brock". I ask for his manager's number. He gives me the phone number for their store. I have to argue with him about what he did and how he was giving me the wrong phone number. He eventually calls his district manager. Gives me the phone. District manager told me he would review cameras and discipline Brock. Probably wasn't even the real district manager. Punk kid.
Advice if you do come upon the unfortunate circumstance of having read this review and still choosing to eat at this Arby's ask if the manager Brock is there. If yes go to taco...
Read moreI typically use the drive through so I'll focus on that in this review.
The location is, like several other fast food chains at this exit, challenging at times. The design of the drive through may require vehicles with small turn radiuses to drive around and approach it from the front entrance. The wait staff has been effective at getting orders right even though they don't seem as friendly as at other local venues. This feels like an attitude of "high-speed efficiency"that may be set by a leader or manager. Thankfully, the quality of the food & the accuracy of the orders hasn't suffered for it in my experience.
The food has been as good as any Arby's & better than several. I tend to enjoy French Dip or baked potatoes with am occasional Arby's or Arby's Jr. I certainly have returned to enjoy Arby's flavor at...
