Will NEVER swing by this place again. Went through the Drive-thru... Couldn't hear the person on the other end. It was a rainy day, and I didn't know it (yet), but she had a mask covering her face; which didn't make it any easier to hear.
I decided to just pull around the front, and order my donuts/food inside the establishment.
I waited for a few minutes... Nobody greeted me... I waited a few minutes more, and finally - the woman SITTING on the SAME counter where the food is prepared, decided to stand up and greet me...
"Hi sir... Are you picking up an order, or trying to order inside?"
Me: "I'd like to place an order..."
Her: "I'm sorry... We don't accept orders inside... You have to go through the drive-thru to place an order..."
Me: "ahhhh...I see... Well, I was just in the drive-thru, but I couldn't hear you (as I noticed she was wearing a mask). It's raining outside, so maybe 'that's' the 'reason' why. Can I place an order due to this issue?
Her: "no sir... You have to order through the drive-thru."
Me: "okay...have a nice day..."
I will NEVER solicit this business again... If I ever want this particular brand, I will LITERALLY drive 30 miles to the next location.
This is the 3rd Dunkin I have tried going to to get my order correct. I get a medium caramel iced coffee or a caramel cold brew. They both are supposed to have 3 pumps of caramel in them. I add 1 extra pump to my order and I get cold foam. But when I receive my order, there’s barely any cold foam on top and there’s about 1-2 pumps of caramel. This happens every time I order here. You’re not even making the original drink correctly. So the money I pay for with an extra pump is wasted. And the money I paid for with the coffee to be made correctly even before I add extra caramel is wasted. I also ordered a muffin today. But this store was out of muffins. Fine. It happens. But I order on the app because it’s easier than trying to order at the drive thru. I instead was given a specialty donut. A muffin is $2.49. A specialty donut is $1.29. So now I’ve wasted money on my coffee, the extra flavor, cold foam, and the difference in price with the item. I know this sounds tedious and I’m not a picky person. But I do expect to receive...

Don’t get there anywhere close to their closing time, as employees regularly are gone exactly at the closing time. They turn customers away and stop serving customers well before the closing time to ensure that they themselves are gone by this time. If this is how you now operate daily, change your closing time to post to your customers an honest time they can expect, and then schedule your employees half an hour past that time so there’s time built in for them to clean up and leave. If this means making closing time 5:30, instead of 6:00, so be it, but be transparent for your customers.
