I have visited here quite frequently for about a year now. Over the past 3 weeks I have gone once a week because I craved what I have been eating g for a year, the vegan harvest bowl. I visited tonight and as I’m still eating my food and reading on my phone, my check was brought out earlier than usual . At the time I paid it no mind. It wasn’t until I was asked about three times. Are you ready, are you ready, are you ready? It felt as if I was being rushed out of the establishment. I asked for a manager and the young man ignored the fact that I asked for a manager. He said which one, the lady, I told him that it didn’t matter what manager I saw he told me that the manager was not available. Then giving me reasons why a manager wasn’t available namely the lady who’s always at that location. He stated that she was sent to help with a new location. As often as I frequent this location, I have never never had the experience that I had tonight. After confronting the young man, the excuse he gave me for continuously coming to the table, asking me was I ready while I was still eating was he didn’t want me looking for him if I was ready, I told him no, I’m still eating and reading, I know how to call for you if I need you. I have dined in twice, but I have to say we have REALLY loved Kami take out. Recently, my daughter was coming down with a cold, and I called to ask for clear soup. The lady taking my order was super kind and attentive and asked if my order was for someone feeling unwell. She suggested an off menu chicken broth clear soup and said they would specially make it with less oil to help my daughter feel better. I added mushrooms and green onions since she loves those. And when I picked it up, she suggested letting the soup steam help her sinuses. It was all so very thoughtful that now we have already ordered take out again. It’s SUPER fast, with great prices, and best of all, the kindest service. Everything is really delicious. My daughter loves the Spicy Creamy Vegan. And now my husband and I do too. I do feel discrimination on their service. And seems they have an “appearance preference “on customers. Me and my friend went there to have dinner tonight, there are people join before and after us. All of them got service and order drinks right after they sat down. We wait for a long time.The servants just keep talking with each other and seems like no one want to serve our table. I asked them about why only us need to wait, they claimed that they forgot it. This is unacceptable because we are the only people sitting there with nothing on table and they could clearly notice from their side. After my meal, I would like to ask for my check from a server passed by, she just ignored us and directly go to the table behind us.
