Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Colonial Heights

My boyfriend and I went to this location last night around 9:15pm well aware that it was technically closed soon. The place had atleast 7-8 full tables of people eating nothing but Dairy Queen. A Jersey mikes employee got impatient and started flipping chairs onto the tables to keep people from sitting down and then a young lady in PINK FUZZY SLIPPERS from Dairy Queen came out to sweep. Now, I work in food service so I understand having a long day. However, this young lady was getting impatient and complaining out loud in front of customers and then asked what time it was. Another employee from behind the counter said “9:30” quietly and the young lady proceeded to raise her voice quite loud and say “9:30 oh no WE CLOSED” and turned lights out and pretty much kicked everyone out. Very rude and extremely poor service. Closed before closing time. I went inside and an employee yelled "we're closed!" Then tried to argue when I said that that their "open" sign is still on. Then she said "well, the ice cream is soft," and the she pointed out that her coworker ia counting the draw. While this is going on, there are four guys and one girl eating ice cream. Why would you have the draw wide open and counting money while customers are in there. So that you can be robbed?!?! We asked for corporate number...we asked more than once. Finally received the number and asked for the employee's name....she said "Kim." I'm truly don't believe that is her name. The shift manage kept saying she's new....I guess she was saying that not to take responability for what was taking place before her. This location always closes early...usually 5 to 7 minutes early. Not good business....

I frequent this location a lot due to me and my daughters loving the blizzards and banana splits. My daughter, who is recovering from surgery and working on her appetite coming back, wanted a blizzard last night. I see that it was a holiday but the people behind the counter were rude. They slammed the blizzards on the counter, didn’t offer a carrier, didnt offer a top. Needless to say on the way home the blizzard melted all over the car and was all over the sides of the cup due to the worker slamming it rudely on...
