First time trying this Mexican place and it was good enough that I would return, but I had a few issues. First the good points. The menu is incredibly extensive. It took a good 5 minutes at least to go over all they offer. One of the largest menus I've ever seen, so if you go here, you're going to have plenty of choices. The employees were nice and attentive. It wasn't crowded on a Monday at lunch time. The 2 salsa they brought , a typical red and a white were both good, the red was very chunky. I ordered a dinner plate of enchilada, burrito and a tamale, supposedly all filled with beef. The enchilada and burrito were very good and fully stuffed with beef, the tamale was horrible, stuffed with chicken but wouldn't have been good no matter what it was stuffed with. Way too much thick corn meal , too little meat. So the chips , salsa and 2 of my 3 dinner items were good. On the bad side, I was told the 3 items were beef, but only 2 were. For $10.50 and ordering from the dinner menu my plate came with nothing , no rice, no beans, no salad. There was plenty of cheese on my items, not quite enough sauce. For the money I felt this was too little food. My friend ordered the lunch special, the Enchilada Supreme which was 4 , one each of beans, cheese, beef and chicken. It arrived covered in shredded lettuce. He liked it but to be honest , it didn't look good to me. As compared to other Mexican places I have been to , this place is good, not great but seems to give you less food for the money. I would stay away from their tamales, but I liked everything else. Not worth going out of your way for, but not bad for...
Read moreAte here with my family for the first time in a long time. It was right after New Years. The portions were huge! And the food came out hot and fresh. My quesadilla had shrimp in it and every one of the shrimps were cooked perfectly and the veggies were all tender crisp. Everyone else loved their meal a well. I was hungry so literally forgot to take photos of our food, it was that good. The chips and salsa were very good as well. I really liked the salsa because it has some chunks in it so the consistency was appealing as well as the flavor. The white sauce was sweeter than I like it but a nice compliment to the slightly spicy salsa. Cheese dip is always good! Our service was a bit lacking. We got served chips and salsa quickly along with drink orders and the server came back in a decent amount of time to take our orders. Once out for was brought to the table (also hot and fresh), we were forgotten about. We needed drink refills that we never got and my son had to leave the table to ask for to go boxes and the check. We got there about 4p.m. and by 5 they were busy with a lot of new clientele, so get there early if you don't want to wait. We had no trouble finding up front parking as well. I really enjoyed my meal in this very casual restaurant. The furnishings and atmosphere appear a bit tired but the food is...
Read moreWORST experience EVER! I can't speak on the food because we didn't touch it. It may have been awesome food but POOR customer service would turn anyone away. Our server was obviously high eyes dialeted and everything. He made my husband a. Peach Frozen Margarita the tequila over powered the peach badly. We asked the server to please blend the drink with added peach. Instead, he brought syrup and told us to mix it into a drink that was already melting because he took and additional 5-7 mins to come back to our table. We asked for a manger, he came over and tried to pour the same syrup in as well.. If we are paying for a frozen drink that's what we should get. Right? Manager then asked if we wanted another drink in such a rude way! I said, No.. I'll pay for what we ate or drank and leave... Sad part is, we are new to the area and chose this place because the reviews talked about how good the food was... Unfortunately, we didn't find out.... They better have customer service training or no matter how good the food is they will loose...
