I'm so upset because this is the second time out of the three times in 1 year I have got a full order of nachos from this place and there has been issues! It's $14 after tax and I get two for one of my kids and I. This time around I at least got more chips, but there wasn't any bean and no creamy cheese throughout it like requested. Instead I got cheese in a cup, and I asked for extra cheese too. Wasn't enough cheese for me. There isn't a proper chip to cheese or toppings ratio, if they layered it, then every chip would have cheese and meat etc on it. When I spend money on anything, especially at a restaurant, given how inflation is high, I expect to get a good amount for the price I paid and good quality nachos. Not just stuff thrown into a container! I have a family of 6, and 2 of us ate here and the rest ordered elsewhere, not wasn't cheap and we knew that and accounted for the price. Finally had a chance to treat everyone and this happens, definitely didn't get what I paid for and this isn't okay. Not to mention when my husband placed this order for us, he said the lady was struggling to understand him, due to language barrier and seemed in a hurry just to take the order and get off the phone. The language barrier is another thing that leads to these kinds of issues. If you want customers to enjoy your food, give your restaurant a chance or several chances, then you need to have someone that takes the orders to be able to fully understand the customers and what they are asking for and also be able to have the customer understand them too. My husband took them back to the restaurant and the guy at the front counter didn't speak any English and pointed to someone else, she could barely speak and understand English. Took 10 minutes for my husband to get them to understand he why he was returning them and wanted a refund, after she was trying to get it remade. Unfortunately, we will not give them another chance and it's sad, because the first time I ate there the nachos were amazing, but I guess whoever made them then, doesn't work...
Read moreUpdate 3/2025 - We go here a few times a month. It's always so good. It's one of our favorite places. You'll get something good no matter what you order.
Original review: We've been twice in the last month, and are planning on going back every other week! Both times, the food we ordered was delicious and plated really nicely. Beware of the portion sizes - they give you SO much food! Both times we went, we had (very yummy) leftovers. We've tried the chorizo nachos, the chile verdes, birria street tacos, and carne asada a la mexicana - we'd recommend any of them.
We also had horchatas the first time we went, which was good. Yesterday, we tried the sangria. Loved it! The service is great - they are super nice, but they don't bother you a bunch.
And my favorite thing is the music. I'm pretty sure they're playing the same Spotify station I listen to all day, so I was jamming and feeling like dancing both times we went.
My only critique - nothing to do with them, only to do with you! I don't know why, but they haven't been super busy either time we went. So...
Read morePros: everything from staff, drinks, to excellent food.
Cons: I wouldn't really call it a "con" as the restaurant just opened but the staff uses an electronic tablet when placing orders - it's a slower process but this is being super critical - the staff is amazing.
The experience was absolutely wonderful and wish I had pictures (next time). I typically stick to what I know but tried the coco loco margarita then ended up ordering a large one after that. The menu has tons of options but ended up selecting the chori steak with rice. The rice has a good authentic taste compared to other local spots and came with a guac salad that was a pleasant surprise. I was in a group of five and all mentioned about coming back on our next group outing.
Overall, give this place a shot. The menu has vast array of options. The food is great and comes out hot. The staff is on point with service and friendliness. Pricing is a minimally higher than some, but worth it....
