Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Chiba Hut on the night of August 17th! From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a great time, but what happened totally blew me away. The place was buzzing with good energy, the music was on point, and the food, as always, was beyond delicious—perfectly toasted subs with all the right flavors.

But what really made my night was the incredible customer service. There was this awesome guy working that night who was just the coolest. He was super friendly and made everyone feel welcome. And then, out of nowhere, he hooked me up with a free drink! I couldn’t believe it! It was such a kind and unexpected gesture, and it turned my night from great to absolutely unforgettable.

You don’t find service like that every day—this guy went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time. It’s moments like these that remind me why I keep coming back to Chiba Hut. The food is amazing, but the people who work there are what truly set this place apart. Huge shoutout to the guy who made my night—you’re a legend! I’m counting down the days until I can visit again. I've never been to this location before, and they have a decent amount of free parking. The restaurant has lots of indoor booths, tables, patio seating, and even an outdoor upstairs seating area for great views. They have a wide selection of sub style sandwiches for meat lovers, veggie lovers, and even PB&J's for the kids or adults alike. You can choose from a 4", 8" or 12" size sub or choose a sub as a salad. I got the La Canna, Italian sub on garlic bread, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was delicious! My daughter got the Bomb, meatball sub, and she said this is the best sub she's ever had! My son had the Apollo 13, chicken sub loaded with veggies, and he loved his as well. Overall good prices, clean open restaurant setting, lots of windows, great music selection playing throughout and on Wednesdays from 7-9pm there's free bingo where you can win prizes. I've just now tried this restaurant, having giving it a go a few weeks ago! I've really been enjoying the sandwiches. I always look forward to it! The food is excellent. The bread is fresh and the texture and flavor of it is wonderful. I've gotten the same sandwich every time I've gone, but every ingredient has tasted fresh and crunchy. They've gotten my order right each time I've been there, and the employees are kind and very helpful. They were patient with my questions and gave me samples of sauces when I was unsure what to pick. It was nice to see how pleasant the employee's atmosphere was, too. The store overall has a really neat theme! Weed and Psychedelic, with a darker interior. The lobby feels very clean. I've ordered takeout each time, and I have no problem waiting; there's various decorations and stickers and artwork to look at all around you. I never have to wait long, either!
