Wish I would have just gone to Chuck-e-Cheese instead! Went here with kids hoping for a fun lunch. The place is unique and random. Old and a bit dingy. The food was not good at all. Ordered a giant pepperoni and a small veggie pizza. The pepperoni was basic at best. The veggie pizza had lots of veggies but was cold...most likely because they place large raw slices of tomato on top. I'm not sure why they don't slice them thin and cook them with the pizza?? We got an order of cheese ravioli with meat sauce. It was like a frozen dinner quality and there was no meat in the sauce at all so not sure if they just used a regular marinara sauce by mistake or if that was actually their meat sauce. Ordered 2 orders of garlic cheese bread and it was horrible. Walmart quality small "baguettes" with barely a smear of butter, absolutely no garlic flavor and literally 3 specks of grated parmesan. Not sure how they heck they qualify that as "cheese bread". My mom returned it and they just took it and did not apologize or offer a refund. The salad bar is "one time through" only and they give you a small cereal-size bowl for $7.75. I honestly do not understand how places with such low quality, poor tasting food stay in business so long. Really pissed I wasted so much money here. Oh, and after getting ripped off on the food, we got scammed in the arcade. First of all there are no tickets/prizes to win. Then we lost over $2 in quarters on games that didn't work and they only gave a $1 in tokens back (not quarters that we could use elsewhere). This place is awful!

We have been going here for years but recently, they have gotten terrible. We ordered a giant pizza and a French dip. This is a picture of the French dip. Maybe 3 slices of meat if I’m being generous. For almost $9, I expect more. And the ‘giant’ pizza, well it looked more like a large that we used to get. I tried to order over the phone and was put on hold for 20 minutes with no one ever coming back on the phone. Eventually had to order online and pay a transaction fee. They need to start putting far more meat on their sandwiches and size their pizzas appropriately. I don’t know what happened in the last 2 years but they need a shift asap. Update: 10/11/24 - went back to try to see if it got better. IT DID NOT. The last two pictures are the sandwich from today. I asked to speak with Eddy the manager and showed him my previous review and reply. He stated that they are sent already weighed out (therefore not fresh) and that the sandwich was correct. How on this earth is that $9 worth of meat? We waited an additional 20 minutes past our pickup time while we watched our pizza and sandwich sit there. They knew we were there, they had our name and nothing. This place is a disaster. After over 10 years, we will never be back. Spend your money elsewhere and get more bang for your buck. Clearly even the review from the manager didn’t do any good and Eddy didn’t seem to care. He said as I was walking out that he would take care of it. Too late bud, I was asking you to take care of it the entire time I asked you if that was really a $9 sandwich.

06/04/2023 update: Don't go here, even for the nostalgia. It's overpriced and takes forever. We ordered two small pizzas and a bowl of spaghetti, and by the time our food was ready over an hour had passed, and the noodles were cold, and the pizza wasn't cooked all the way through and was cold. And the way service works by forcing you to go to the one and only counter for ordering, pizza boxes (which they will only give you if you bring your leftovers to the counter), and customer service, you pretty much have no chance of getting what you want or help. Fargo's is a unique experience attempting to be like the old pizza restaurants before delivery that were wild west themed that needs to be experienced once. Everyone is dressed in saloon outfits and there's lots of old timey displays, but that's about it. Ordering takes place at one counter, food pickup at another, drink pickup at another, and there's a one time only salad bar, all of which contributes to traffic and waiting problems, which made things slow even when only a few tables were occupied, I can't imagine what it's like when full. There's a ton of pizza and other food options which all sound good. The crust of the pizza is interesting, very thin and light and crispy, like a cracker in a good way. The salad pizza is a little ridiculous, it's coated in thick slices of tomato, no way to actually eat it without dismantling the tomato shingles.

On Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 2:30 pm my friend and I took a trip from Castle Rock, CO down to Fargo's pizza, a childhood favorite, I was born in 1970, when it opened and went there all the time. I noticed that there was one girl cleaning up the salad bar and sweeping the floors and generally working, the rest of the staff, 5 employees, were standing around behind the counter talking. They kept going to the game room in groups, multiple times in the ~1 that we were there. I spoke with the young girl actually working and praised her for working hard and asked her why she was the only one working, she said it's always like that. Meanwhile, during our private conversation, the other staff kept moving closer to listen, they were not inconspicuous at all. One of the girls pops up over the counter and asks if I need help, I advised that we were having a personal conversation. I then asked this young lady who her manager was so I could let him know what a good job she was doing, she was very reluctant to tell me but pointed him out (tall, black shirt, long greyish hair). A few minutes he walked by and I asked if I could talk with him, here is essentially the conversation.... Me: "I just wanted to let you know what a good job this young lady is doing" Him: "She's new, that's how they always are until they have been here for a while. I will tell her you said so but I can't do anything else about it". Me: "Why is she the only one working, I see all of the others just standing around" (This is where he started getting rude and defensive.) Him: "They are waiting for customers to come in so they can serve them, that's their job, that's how things are run around here." Can I just say.... WHAT?? Again, this was ~2:30 pm and there were maybe 5 people there and no one rushing to go in. Plus they were still standing close and eavesdropping, not working, manager didn't do anything. The conversation continued for a couple more minutes with the same things being said. He defended the ones who have been there longer and not working and kind of shrugged off the praise I was giving the young lady. While we were there I noticed dust and lint hanging down from the ceiling fans, including the only one that was running, seats are ripped up, the walls and mostly the windows and window sills were disgusting, floors were dirty, and much more. The table right inside the doorway that is supposed to have the menus under the glass was dirty and there weren't any menus under it, we had to stand at the counter and decide what we wanted. Imagine if there were a lot of customers there.

The only thing that seemed clean was the bathroom. Wouldn't a manager whos employees are just standing around direct them to do some basic cleaning and maintenance? I am torn on contacting the health department or not. At the very least I really hope that the owner of this establishment sees this and takes appropriate action, this is a disgrace to such a beautiful, historical, and well...

So I am sitting here very annoyed the cashier's blatantly overcharged me and proceeded to lie. So my son who has never been to Fargo's before is overly excited about going to Fargo's we go in we go up to order the orders in large pizza and he is offered a combo which they tell him to add a salad and a drink great fantastic that's what he wants to have I proceeded to order next I tell them I want a Deluxe pizza with the veggies and the meat he plants need to some combo that has Canadian bacon and salami. I am not a fan of salami and I most certainly would not be a fan of salty salami with kind of bland Canadian bacon. So I asked if I can substitute the meats and Toes can't substitute the needs that I can hold and add and it will be the same thing well let me tell you I'm still sitting here trying to figure out how one large Deluxe pizza is $50??? When they said the price I was ready to turn around and walk out the door and my child who has never been here is overly excited by the atmosphere and the game room that is strategically placed so you have to walk by before you go in and order so the kids are already hooked.i I'm trying to order the same thing that my son ordered which is the large pizza and the combo salad and drink they say no it's because he got a mini pizza I simply point at the receipt and say no he got a large pizza then they try to tell me oh it's the lunch special well I ordered the same thing that he did 2 minutes after he finished his order I'm pretty certain that I still qualify in lunch special. Then it was well no know he ordered a mini pizza again in which I replied no no he has a large pizza and my salad and drink is somehow extra whereas my son salad and drink was not I was overcharged when are the cashiers who later came up to me and I told him I was disgusted with the transaction he went back to the person that he was working with and she again tried to use the same rhetoric in a circle and now he's asking the same questions I was and there is no way that she could talk her way out of she clearly overcharged me so rip me off the pizza was mediocre at best and cold and your new and improved restaurant if this is how you treat and do everyone I know where you got the money to do the the upgrades you're ripping people off and giving them a mediocre show in the restaurant at best I...

I have supported Fargos since I was a teenager, I will turn 60 this year. Went on 5/24 took my wife and my granddaughter, the visit was beyond disappointing, the salad bar girl was filling up the ingredients. When she went to refill the vanilla wafers, she could not open the plastic bag so she used her teeth to open the packaging and filled up the bowl in the open. If this happens in front of customers what happens in the room behind the piano….? My wife was getting a salad and was not happy, she did not eat her salad. My Order number came up, I went to pick up my order. When I arrived at the counter they could not find my pizza and said they would make another and put my number back up when it was ready. I sat down with the spaghetti for my granddaughter for about 2 minutes and they announced that they found the rest of my order. I picked it up went back to sit down. The pizza looked small and I could not see any onions on the pizza. I went back up to inform the manager on duty who had a black cowboy hat. I explained my issue with my order. He asked my order number, went to the counter and pulled a pizza and said here it is. It was medium but was given a small that wasn’t my pizza. I informed him of the salad bar issue and what transpired with the vanilla wafers. He asked what employee did that I told him and he said he would discuss the issue with her ….for him that was good enough. They didn’t have time to remake the pizza so my pizza had been sitting on the counter the entire time and I was given the wrong pizza and wrong size. That means someone else had to have another pizza made. The manger offered to put my pizza back in the oven for a few minutes….. I declined. I was horrified by the entire experience. I will choose to spend my money elsewhere. This is sad and a shame I truly loved going to to Fargos in the past. Never going again !! Stay away from the salad bar if...
