This company has terrible customer service. Buyer beware!!!!! After ordering items online a few months back that were not compatible, I called and spoke to a customer service rep once they arrived who looked up the items. I did MY DUE DILIGENCE by thoroughly checking the specs to make sure the frame fit the tiles. I even called and spoke to a customer service, and they said it would work! I ordered the frame to go with my tiles. NO WHERE DID IT SAY THESE TWO ITEMS WOULD NOT WORK on the phone with a rep, nor at checkout!! He insisted many times that the frame and tiles I purchased would and should fit together. The rep said he saw no reason it would not work. I spent at last 30 minutes on the phone with him. We tried to find another frame, but he could not. I asked why they would sell the frame with the tiles if they were not compatible. I stated that the site Should warn the customer with a LOUD AND CLEAR Message THAT THIS FRAME WOULD NOT MATCH the tiles and cannot be sold together, EVEN THOUGH the dimensions were correct!! The rep agreed and apologized. He offered a full refund and the cost of shipping at that time, but I let him know there was a iron worker in my neighborhood that worked with decorative iron. I would see if he could cut it down to make it work. He could not. Then I got Covid, and my life was put on hold. I recovered and called back today to make the exchange for another, less decorative frame. I just spoke to Jerrod, the customer service supervisor who would not pay for the full shipping of a return his company screwed up! He told me I would have to pay 14.99 both ways to return the frame. 14.99 x 2!!! Then agreed to pay one way. I ordered house number tiles with a frame THEY suggested, and didn't work, so I call back and I'm told Low and behold! It DOES say that the tiles do not go together! LIES!! Nowhere did it say that at the time. Their own rep couldn't find anything in HIS system, nor on the website at all that would suggest it wouldn't go together at the time, AND, he apologized!! Today I spoke to Jerrod a supervisor, who refused to pay for the shipping from their screw up!! I was even going to do an exchange and buy another less decorative frame that Jerrod reassured would fit. I cannot believe that a company would promote someone to a manger position who can't see past his arrogance and stubborn thinking and see the end result. Not only have they lost this order, but they also lost my future purchases as well! I recently bought a Spanish Style Mediterranean home and I planned to purchase all sorts of Talavera Pottery for my patio, sinks for the bathroom vanities, tiles for the backsplash for my kitchen, tiles for my bathroom floors and walls, kitchen decorations and much more. I would have spent way more money at this company that would have paid for the shipping 100 times over--at least! What a bad decision on the part of Jarrod. It is the principle. I should not have to pay for their mistake!!! I will take my business...
Read moreAfter careful consideration, I ordered two "Extra Large Tile Mirror Frame - Natural Finish 24" x 36"Item TMIR329D" (mirror glass not included at this size) to use as vanity mirrors in the master bathroom. Upon receipt and measurement, I ordered two pieces of 1/8' mirror glass at local glass dealer, which I picked up next day. Then, I carefully hung the tiled frames centered above each vanity sink, under each vanity light fixture. After that, I easily installed a piece of mirror glass into each frame with the provided tin backing sheet and retainer clips, and I hung the mirrors. Since we own other Mexican tiled mirrors (purchased several years ago), I knew what to expect. Quality and craftsmanship were, as expected, as shown in photos online. Happy that the frames closely match each other too. Only problem was that FedEx mishandled the "Fragile" marked cardboard box a bit during ground shipment from CO to MA, putting enough pressure on one side of the box to bow one 36" side of one mirror frame, causing a small dent, I easily straightened the bowed side of the frame, and then I carefully removed the dent by lightly prying and tapping the soft tin to the point one cannot notice it unless one knows where to look. The mirror frames were adequately bubble wrapped side by side within the box, but the cardboard was not substantial enough to resist the impact or weight of mishandling. I suggest enclosing a couple of smaller boxes, one on each side of the tin mirror backing so the middle of the box cannot be as easily depressed and/or use stronger cardboard for the shipment box. Minimally, add more Fragile stickers to both sides of the shipment, not just one on each side. Otherwise, I very satisfied, and I recommend La Fuente as importer of...
Read moreUPDATE BELOW: I ordered a dining table, 2 of the large Lyon Benches, and a Carved Bench on 8/2/2020. Initially, After placing my online order I received a confirmation email to let me know that the items that I ordered were back ordered and the customer service rep asked me if I wanted to proceed with my order which I responded with I did. Since that communication it’s been radio silence. I have emailed them twice now and called numerous times. When you try calling them you get a pre-recorded message that due to the Covid crisis all of the customer service reps are working from home so we need to email them which is the same email address that I have been sending my emails to. If they truly have workers working from home, why isn’t anyone responding to my emails? I can appreciate that our world is upside down right now and that shipping is delayed but what I can’t understand is why nobody is responding to my emails. I’m beginning to think this company is a scam. If I get a response to my emails I will update my review. At this point I would say buyer beware and at the very least be leery. UPDATE: I have sent numerous emails to La Fuente as directed by your voicemail and have received no response. It’s been 8 weeks since I placed my order. Can someone please make customers a priority and let us know what’s going on? This is absurd that you don’t answer customer emails about...
