This was my first and last experience with Jersey Mike's. Place the order ahead of time walked in to get it, one employee standing there having a conversation with a customer not doing anything else, doesn't even acknowledge me when I walk in. He continues his conversation for about 2 minutes until the customer finally points at me and he turns to me and asks what I need. I told him I had to pick up and and he hollered at the rest of the employees. I continue to stand there for another 10 minutes watching the employees walk all over the they had dropped on the floor making orders for the people standing in line. I saw a gentleman in the back who was also making sandwiches and I figured he must be the one making the to go order. Nope. After they went through all the people in line including the people who walked in after I walked in, they decided to make my sandwich. when I asked why did they wait until all of the walk-in customers were done before they made my call in order, they said we're making them as fast as we can. That doesn't explain why my sandwiches were made after everybody who walked in after I was in there. What was the purpose in calling the order in ahead of time, if you're just going to wait until every other customers sandwiches are made first? It would have been faster for me to stand in line after I got there and then place my order. Then to top it off, he threw my sandwiches into a bag and literally tossed the bag from where he was standing about 2 ft onto the counter to where I was. I looked at him in amazement but he couldn't even look at me. I then asked where I find chips because I was supposed to get chips with my sandwiches. Without looking at me, nor gesturing, he says, over there. As if that helped me out. Never have I run across more rude, lazy employees during a lunch rush.
Response to owner - Nowhere does it say you were making MY sandwiches. I said the order was called in ahead of time. I NEVER lie, nor have I need to exaggerate the laziness and rude behavior of your millennial employees. The fact that I choose my freedom of schedule by working door dash has nothing to do with anything. Your attempt to bash me personally for such is hilarious. If I "fabricated" my story, why did door dash have to ask what my status was as I stood there in your place watching every walk in customer (who came in after me - as I watched the to go bag sitting on the counter) get their sandwiches made before the order that had been placed at least 8 minutes before I even arrived?!?! The app knows when I arrive at the merchant's and chimes in for updates when it takes a long time. There were 3 people in line when I got there. And it took me 8 minutes to get there after receiving the dash. And then another 10 minutes for the two sandwiches to be made. That's a pretty long time for "fast as we can." Yes, it was a lunch rush, and people kept coming in so more than 3 people's sandwiches were made. The point is that they ignored the to-go order and when I asked why, their response was to be rude. My ugliness was a tesult of having to wait 10 minutes, and then rather than apologize for having forgotten the order (which is obviously what happened), your employees were rude and the boy's behavior completely unacceptable. It is no wonder your employees behave this way when you pat them on the back for doing so.
Your immature response to my complaint not only seeks to attack Doordash, it says a lot about how you run your business. Which is why you have such rude employees.
So, if you're reading this and plan on using Doordash, GrubHub, Uber eats, etc to order your food from this establishment, keep in mind that you will be placed behind all other orders. So, if you don't have a car, have limited time for lunch, have a sleeping baby you don't want to wake but are hungry, your time is not as valuable as someone who doesn't have these issues apparently. The poor employees where I was delivering (2 miles away) had to wait over half an hour (door dash records all our times) for their lunch.

Read moreMy boss had received several “free regular sub” cards to pass out to me and my co-workers. He got them directly from an employee/s at this store which is also where I redeemed it. I’ve gotten two from him on different occasions and each time I was told they had already been redeemed. If that was the case, why wasn’t it ripped up so it wasn’t in circulation again? The first time it happened, the guy working the register, still gave it to me for free which was great! The most recent time it happened, I again was told it had been redeemed. At first the girl said it was redeemed the morning I went to use it, but that was impossible because I had it in my possession since I received it. Then she looked at the date it was “redeemed” and said it was actually a month to the day ago because she forgot what month we were in. To that I said that it wasn’t possible because I had the card about two weeks so I don’t know how it could have been redeemed the month (30 days) prior. Again, this card wasn’t ripped up so I assumed it meant it was valid. Someone may want to look into why these cards are being handed out if they have already been used yet not ripped up after use. That is very misleading to customers/potential customers who are expecting a free sandwich. Even though my sandwich was almost done being made, I told the girl I was going to go somewhere else and she just said, “okay.” The sandwiches are too expensive; I can get a combo meal for the same price (and more food) at a fast food place. I went and got something much smaller, yet much cheaper for lunch since I was expecting a free sandwich with my “free” sandwich card and didn’t get it. There are cheaper places to go in the area and with today’s economy I want to eat as cheaply as possible.
I have notified my boss about this issue so he’s aware that this is a problem, especially since it’s happened to me both times and a co-worker had the same issue several weeks back. Other co-workers had no problems at all.
I probably won’t be back since this has happened to me twice. But if by chance (it’s a very slim chance) I do go back for a “free regular sub,” I will be checking with the cashier first to make sure the card is actually valid before they waste time making...
Read moreBeen to this location probably 5-6 times over the last month or so. I also travel to many different Jersey Mike's location all around CO, UT, NV, CA, and AZ. At every location I visit (including this one), I always get the same order - a #11, substitute the ham for pepperoni so it would be salami, pepperoni and provolone.
Every location (including this location multiple times, as recently as yesterday) always charges me for a #11, a #2, or a #3. No location ever charges me for a #13 because what I order has 1/2 the amount of meat when compared to a #13 and I don't request that any location load up the meat, just a regular portion of salami and a regular portion of pepperoni in the same portions as a #11.
I guess I just had bad luck today though as the manager working at this location around 245p on 07/29/23 decided that today they needed to make a big deal about charging me for a #13 so that it doesn't throw off their inventory counts. Any manager who actually knows how to be a manager would know how easy it is to account for x1 regular sized sandwich not auto-deducting the inventory counts correctly and a skilled manager would also know losing a repeat customer over maybe a dollars worth of inventory is pretty dumb.
While it may not matter much to that manager in the end, I'm personally not going to visit this Jersey Mike's location again in the future. There are at least 2 other locations within a similar driving distance and those locations don't have...
