Some logistical issues...hoping they grow out of it. I really wanted to like this place more. The prices weren't bad. The sushi was delicious, lots of fish and not too much rice. Kitchen appetizers were nothing special. The problems were overwhelming. They were out of three of the things we ordered. Our waiter didn't know the answer to nearly any of the questions we asked and always had to go get help. He was often walking around the other side of the seating area, almost as if he was avoiding us. They also flat out forgot something we ordered. Their happy hour runs daily until 6pm. We ordered at 5:50. Then, the waiter had to resubmit our order because of all the stuff they were out of. When we got the bill, everything was full price and the receipt said our order was submitted at 6:03. When we asked the waiter about it and said we had ordered during happy hour he said, "Well...kinda. It was, like, almost 6." And then he just stared at us, as if what he said made sense on any planet. When we asked him to speak to the manager to get us the price we should be paying, she said she would NOT honor the happy hour prices. I told him we would not be paying full price. He asked her again and she lowered the price. They almost lost our business over about an $8 difference in the bill. I'll give this place one more chance and hopefully, they'll get their act together, because the sushi was really, really good. If not for the logistical issues, I would have given them four stars. ***UPDATE*** We went back and the service was better, but we made sure to ask ALL our questions ahead of time. I added a star. The cuts of fish were smaller this time, which made it less of a value. We're cautiously optimistic.

My husband and I went in around 11:30 on a Tuesday. They were not very busy, which was pleasing. I ordered hot tea while my husband got a soda. We ordered the Tempura Vegetables as an appetizer. I decided on two rolls of sushi, a soup, and salad for the $9 lunch special. I also got two pieces of Unagi. My Husband ordered the General Tso's chicken. We recieved the sushi first then about 5 minutes later, we recieved our salad and soups. About 5 minutes after that, my husband got his food. Lastly, we recieved our appetizers far after we recieved our entrees. I have no complaints about the sushi as it was delicious, cheap, and I had more than enough for leftovers. My husband however, was very dissatisfied with his entree. He cut into his 'chicken' pieces and about 80% of it was breading and no chicken. Needless to say, he did not eat more than a few pieces before he lost his appetite. He didn't want to say anything to the waitress but as a chef myself, I know the importance of the information about food and service. We showed her the pieces that were just breading. We ended up getting a to go box for most of our food but he declined one for his 'chicken'. Even after we said something to her and showed her the poor quality of the food he recieved, nothing was done for us. I was pleased with my food and the overall price of our meal but felt bad for my husband who did not recieve much anything that was edible. If you decide to visit, if recommend the sushi and not the battered then sauced chicken. The music was out of place and a bit too loud as well. There was a family behind us with young children that were very upset that the music included cursing.

Bad! Terrible. Not worth expense. Etc. Here is why: Phone convo for pick up-she was clueless & not helpful. When asked if sushi still available, she had no idea. I suggested maybe she inquire. Sushi not available BUT when ordered Bento, suddenly sushi became available. Not huge issue. But what really cemented the neg review: Teriyaki chicken was so extremely dry, even when drowning in disgusting 'teriyaki' sauce, it was oddly rubbery and looked like spam. I've had better teriyaki chicken at Panda and that's not saying much. The teriyaki chicken was sitting on few piece of lettuce which I don't understand, why bother to add 3 pieces of slimy lettuce underneath when the whole thing swimming in sauce. Which I assume was to resurrect the dusty/rubbery chicken. The sushi was apparently pre-made, old and extremely small roll. Tempura veg old, stale as well. Could not ascertain what veg due to days old stale lack of taste but if only by the color of veg. Overall, extremely disappointed. Will not return. There is no care in this business, and I don't care to patronage.

This is a beautiful restaurant aside from the giant tvs playing too loud. The menus are huge and colorful and also a huge list of food they're supposed to be good at. All of this set the restaurant up for high expectations.

Hubby and i came here in the second week after opening - long enough that bugs should have been worked out - but it was a tragedy of errors. The huge menu is full of misspellings, white out, and marker corrections. I never trust a restaurant with a huge menu because it is expensive and a lot harder to execute; my concern was completely justified because execution of everything we ordered was poor if not awful.

Our table got slower service and food then the other two tables on the restaurant wall near us. Our appetizer was doughy pot stickers which were neither appetizing nor tasty.

Hubby got a curry which he seemed 'ok' with - but my 'sizzling platter' was barely warm, let alone sizzling. Not only that but more than half of it was onions, another third was broccoli, and there was a smidgen of beef. Little to no seasoning, no sauce and so a very dry meal with the rice.

This was just such a mediocre experience - a huge let down after the big publicity for their opening and the high end finishes of the restaurant. The worst part was the other 4-5 tables around us also seemed to be enjoying a...
