I used to LOVE coming in to the warm and welcoming environment that amici’s offered. Yesterday my coworker ordered us some food from there and I went to pick it up. The gentleman on the phone was rude, but whatever. I went in to pick it up, and the young lady that was working there was very kind, very responsive and very helpful. The older black man working in the back, whom was the same man on the phone, was completely rude, hostile, and inappropriate. Fast forward to today. I called to make an order for pick up. And whoever answered the phone must’ve been higher than a kite. I had to repeat my phone number seven times. Literally. And even then he didn’t compute it so I literally did one number at a time until he got it, then, when I went to make my order, I made a simple order of a Caprese salad, except I wanted the balsamic instead of oil. I even told him “the balsamic that you put on the Mista salad.” he said “oh OK…. Wait, how do you spell balsamic.” at that point I was just done. I said to cancel my order and hung up the phone. I wish they had the same team they had about a year ago, when they first opened. I have always really enjoyed their food, and was usually the first to recommend Mici’s when we did team lunches or dinners. Unfortunately, I don’t think that I will be back anytime soon due to the lack of customer service...
Read moreI placed a door dash order for some lasagna for my wife who is fresh postpartum and instead of receiving typical lasagna, I just got lasagna noodles. I promptly called their store and talked to the manager, Travis. He confirmed he has never seen someone just order lasagna noodles… you don’t say. Instead of calling me to confirm or just assuming Lasagna usually comes with some form of sauce… my wife received 4 plain noodles. The descriptions of the dish reads “Third-generation recipe with Tuscan meat sauce” you would think that implies a sauce. What really frustrated me was when Travis pushed back and blamed me for ordering $19 lasagna noodles and that I needed to select a sauce…. There were only 2 sauce options: “no sauce” or “extra sauce” for $2.99 more. It’s a $19 dish, I apologize for not thinking to add up charged “extra sauce” to an already $19 lasagna dish with “Tuscan meat sauce” literally in the description. He sarcastically asked how my wife “typically eats lasagna”… well Travis, usually with some form of meat sauce on it like everybody else. He reassured me that his staff was confused too… the fact that he let that order leave his restaurant without as much as calling to confirm is mind blowing. He did offer me a refund on my order but I have yet to receive...
Read moreI’ve ordered here I think once before and the food was pretty mid. Not great, but certainly not bad. However, I ordered on their website for delivery tonight and got a text AND and email saying it would be delivered by 7:40. With no progress on the tracker whenever I looked, I finally called at 7:40 to see what was going on, and the extremely rude lady on the phone argued with me saying that on her screen it showed that it was picked up and the driver would be “heading my way shortly”. I was like, I’m confused, are they on their way or not. She kept saying she can only see what’s on her screen, and refused to let me know if the order was physically sitting there waiting to be picked up or not. She told me that the longer she was on the phone with me, then the less time she could be taking to finish orders. Excuuuuuse me???? Never eating here again. Poor staffing management is one thing, but being completely rude when you miss a delivery deadline is...
