RIP OFF … My daughter’s hair came out looking worse than when we went into this Supercuts today (8/17/2013)!!! Since she decided she wanted red hair this weekend, we didn’t have time to go to a professional salon. I saw plenty of teens going into this establishment so I thought they could handle this task. I called to make an appointment and asked for the person who was the hair coloring specialist. I was told “oh, we can all do that.” Obviously not. My daughter went in with dark brown hair and blonde highlights for a red coloring and came out 2.5 hours and $45 lighter in the wallet and with dark brown hair. So not only did she not get red hair but they stripped out the expensive blonde highlights. Not a problem had we gotten the red we paid for. The stylist, Vanessa, knew she didn’t do a good job (hence the 2.5 hours) and the “manager” Barb already came out with what Vanessa told her she had done. Obviously they were expecting us to not be satisfied but they said “no guarantees” the color would take even though Vanessa was so concerned the blonde highlights would be so bright red that she didn’t use the red/red color I picked and instead used the red/brown color. Their written documents are TOTALLY different than her verbal representation and they refused to honor the “guarantee” which is clearly printed on the receipt. It says “We guarantee your satisfaction with ALL services”. Yet when I read this to Vanessa, she said, we don’t guarantee it that’s why we have you sign the other paper. What a RIP OFF!!! Do not use this place … there is Great Clips just up the street at...
Read moreI am still recovering from a bad haircut I received in DECEMBER. I went in wanting a trim, asking for no more than 1 inch to be removed. The stylist informed me that my ends were way too badly damaged and she would either cut all of them off (about 4 inches) or none. So, I said I would leave. Upon trying to leave, she changed her mind and said she would give me a trim. It's probably my fault for going back to her, oh well. She started in the back so I couldnt see how much she was taking off, which was about 2 inches. Her reasoning was the same and now she said something like she'll have to take 2 inches off all around to make it look even. She just kept taking off more and more and eventually I had to stop her. I angrily paid and did not tip. Also, I did go in there with bad, split ends, but the way she cut my hair makes my ends looks WORSE. Now my hair looks and feels thinner and more breakable. That's supposedly what she was trying to prevent. I wish I remembered her name, because she did an awful job....
Read moreHello, Ladies and Gentlemen. I knocked 2 stars off because of repeated, but hopefully honest mistakes concerning surprise upselling. My mother and I got a haircut from Trinity and another stylist with whom I had a great conversation about their native Vietnam and Germany, respectively. We both reserved an 11am-11:30am adult ($23) and senior ($20) haircut. It was my bad to absent-mindedly say "yes" to my stylist offering a blowdry (+$17) after she did a fantastic job on my blunt lob, but it did seem a little suspicious when I had to for a third time since coming in ask them to take either an "awapui treatment" or a "deep conditioning" off of my bill = ($80+) - ($19) = $61+. Please take care to remind them of what you think you're buying because they must have been really turned around with customers! Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied with the haircut both I and my...
