Pizza Time is a gem that I don't frequent as often as I should, especially considering how conveniently located it is—just a short walk from my house. Despite this, I make it a priority to drop by at least once a month, and each visit reminds me why I love this place so much.
Their pizza is undeniably some of the best in town. Each slice is a delightful blend of perfectly crispy crust, rich sauce, and a generous layer of gooey cheese, complemented by a variety of fresh toppings that are always flavorful. It’s the kind of pizza that makes you want to savor every bite, and I often find myself craving it long after I've left.
What truly sets Pizza Time apart is the nostalgic atmosphere. Walking in feels like a trip down memory lane, transporting me back to my little league days when we celebrated our big wins with pizza parties. The walls are adorned with memorabilia and photos that evoke a sense of community and warmth, making it a welcoming spot for families and friends alike.
The addition of an arcade and multiple TV screens creates a lively environment, making it a fun destination for all ages. Whether you're looking to challenge friends to a game or catch a sports game on TV, there's something for everyone here.
This mom-and-pop pizzeria embodies that authentic, homemade quality that’s hard to find in larger chains. You can truly taste the love and care that goes into each pizza, making every visit feel special. From the friendly staff who treat you like family to the comforting ambiance, Pizza Time is more than just a place to grab a slice; it’s a community hub where memories are made.
So, while I may not visit as often as I'd like, every trip to Pizza Time is a delightful reminder of why I keep coming back for more. If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend stopping by—you...
Read moreVisited my sis and her family in the springs. They just moved back to Colorado from Cali. I always prefer to try local eateries over the corporate chains. Sharing similiar tastes, and knowing my preference, rarely am I disappointed when she makes a suggestion. Pizza time did not disappoint and exceeded all expectations. Where to start....beer! They have a good number of taps for a pizza joint with local crafts and a really nice selection of bottled craft beer as well. I noticed a Breckenridge avalanche placard on the wall when I walked in and I had to have one. it wasn't on tap but a bottle was all I needed anyway. Place was loaded (always a good first sign) and the vibe in the place was very comfortable yet energetic. Walking in 8 deep 4 kid 4 adults we saw the patio was empty and the weather was just right for a summer night of good food and good company. Keeping in mind the head count the bill was under 100 bucks. We had apps sodas beers and a pie. The garlic cheese bread on the rolled out pizza dough is a must. We had fries, Mojo's(not like Shakey's Mojo's) and garlic bread with cheese on a French roll. all very good. They all hit our table within 10 minutes from when we placed our order. Now this 24 slice pie was so big we needed a third table to set it on. The dough cheese and sauce we're a perfectly delicious combination of flavor. Keep in mind the dough at a mile or higher. Has to be tossed differently than at sea level. They know what they're doing here. Oh ya 8 of us and we still took half of the pie home. Great overall experience with nothing to...
Read moreWe wanted to try a local pizza place this past Saturday and we went through the options and came across Pizza Time. Their great reviews from other past consumers were the tipping point as to why we selected them. As a result we wanted to try a few of their options. We were able to get the online special which was a large cheese pizza and cheesy bread for $17.99. Then we added mozzarella sticks and went to go pick it up.
When I went to pick it up, the inside of their store had 0 customers which was a very sad sight to see. It looks like your typical NY Pizza joint with tons of TVs and arcade games that were probably a bigger hit before the pandemic. I hope people will start going here soon!
When I returned home with the food, I was excited. The food still remained hot even through the car ride and we didn’t hesitate to try their food.
Their mozzarella sticks were pretty standard, but at least they had tons of cheese in them. They weren’t something to write home about but they were still quality.
Their cheesy bread was more up my taste with how garlicky the bread was. My wife is more on the more cheese over garlic side. I still would recommend it though.
Their pizza was pretty standard NY pizza and it gave a simple and subtle garlic flavor. They definitely love using a tiny bit of garlic on their pizza to amplify the taste. I liked it.
Overall, 4 stars for the price and quality of the food. I would recommend families to come here and try it out for themselves! I’ll be back with a few of my friends once this pandemic is...
