Updated: Today I had the worst experience ever at Pizza Hut on Union. My family orders from Pizza Hut at least once every month; however, I don't think we will go again after today's service.
Upon my arrival, I walked into some young female employee with black hair complaining at the register to other customers about customers calling the complaint line, company technology, and the dispatch people. This employee was ranting for several minutes, to the point that the customer in front and myself just sat down. Once the employee stopped her complaining, she informed us that our food was not ready.
I departed and went back outside to wait on my food; upon entering, I asked another young lady to tell me if a manager was around. She informed me she was the manager for the evening and asked how she could help. I informed her of the above situation and told her that it was very unprofessional and embarrassing. She initially took in my complaint, and I thought it was correctly received, but she said they have been having a rough day and joked about the situation. After he remarks, she said she would address it , but I don't feel that the issue will be handled correctly.
After waiting an additional 30 plus minutes for my food to be complete, the original lady was very rude and snappy with me. I assume that her supervisor informed her about the said incident, and she was trying to take it out on me. Read moreI had ordered two double breadsticks. Each order of breadsticks comes with one marinara so in each box we got two marinara’s which is correct. I then ordered two extra marinara’s that we didn’t receive. I called them to see what we could do to maybe get our marinara’s or a store credit. The lady on the phone was extremely rude. Saying she put the marinara’s in there and that we only get two and I explained that I had ordered two extra and then she said “well do you wanna come get them” and I said no because I didn’t wanna drive back out there and before I could say something about a store credit she goes “well I don’t know what you want me to do” and I said about a store credit and she said okay 5 dollars on there and then hung up on me. I was a manager at a Pizza Hut for 4 years and never would’ve treated a customer this way. Crazy Update: my husband ended up calling back and talking with the manager who I think originally cashed me out and got the situation resolved. I forgot to say in my original post that the First Lady never took my name or phone number so i don’t know how we were getting a refund but the manager was so nice on the phone. I thought I ordered a 2 topping pizza but there must have been some mix up either on my end or in the computer system bc i only got a pepperoni pizza. It was kind of lukewarm when I did get to eat it and I left a review saying so for next time without asking for anything bc 80% of what happened was my fault. The cashier showed me the pizza but I neglected to tell them that it wasn't what I thought I ordered. In a very short amount of time the store owner/manager called me up to ask more about my experience. She offered me a credit so I could try to get the pizza I wanted again and went above and beyond for something that was mostly my mistake. This pizza hut is one that cares about the customer experience and tries their hardest to make sure everything is right. Even when the customer is being kind of dumb lol.
