I saw The Guess Who here, my first rock concert in 1971! About a month before my 12th birthday 🙌 by 1974 I saw Rare Earth here twice and REO Speedwagon on the Riding The Storm Out tour 🙌 I saw amazing bands here growing up and they are some of my funnest memories. All in all I probably saw at least 12 concerts here in the 70s and Ozzy Osbourne in 1981 on the Crazy Train tour. This building will always have a place in my heart ❤️ And I was always on the front row in front of the stage because I was im so little, not even 5 ft. I knew how to worm my way through the crowd 👩‍🎤🤘 long live rock and the Colorado Springs City Auditorium! Photo was taken of me and my brother by our mom, before The Guess Who concert in fall 1971.. unbelievable that I still have this pic on my fridge ✌️❤️😁

This is a wonderful historical auditorium downtown Colorado Springs, CO. Every event I have attended has been meaningful and very special. It's older and I appreciate that! There is always some kind of maintenance going on, which again... I appreciate, because that means they are taking care of it! I hope it continues to stand when I pass away, so my older children can continue to visit and remember all the fun activities that they were in & enjoyed. Also that one day, in the future... (long future) my grandkids can do more than visualize when they hear stories about the memories and people.

Awesome! I went here for a jujitsu tournament, and it was a blast. It was a perfect size and very well run. Clean bathrooms and nice restaurants made this a wonderful experience.

Sunday afternoon we attended the Rocky Mountain State Games badminton competition at City Aud. It has been a few years since I have been there for an event. This venue is a great service to citizens who participate in all kinds of things--roller derby, sports, antique shows, and the metaphysical fair. Most of these events could not happen without a reasonably priced venue.

We are lucky to have such a hard-working historic structure open to the public. The chairs are wearing out, and there is no A/C, but extensive renovation would raise the cost of renting the facility. Maybe City Aud already has a 'Friends' group. If...
