I really hate to give a bad update but I went back to this restaurant that I enjoyed going to and ordered food. The food made me sick. Honestly- I was sitting waiting for the food and I noticed problems in the kitchen. I was hoping that it wasn’t as bad as it seemed. There was salad dressing sitting out uncovered and not refrigerated and the kitchen seemed so dirty. I was asked if I wanted to take my cinnamon roll home uncooked? I said no. It was such a bizarre question. Then when I arrived I was asked again. The server explained that I could just bake it when I got home. I again said no and she said okay. I got the impression that they didn’t want to take the time to cook it. When I finally got our food- the sandwiches were so poorly made that there was mayonnaise on the top of the bread and piles of meat on on side with none on the other side. I had to sit in the car and remake the sandwich. Then we took a bite and it was bad. I mean it tasted off. We ended throwing the sandwiches away. It was horrible. When we got home- I looked at the cinnamon roll- it was terrible. I will never eat at this restaurant again! I’m shocked at what I experienced. This is what I used to say about this place: Reuben sandwich with French fries was truly fantastic! Staff was friendly! I had such a great first experience at this restaurant! I will be back to try more items! Yummy!

Breakfast Done Right: A Visit to Omelets Etc. As someone with a low tolerance for mistreated eggs, I approached Omelets Etc. with cautious optimism and left thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Meat Lover's Omelette with an added kick of green chili strips. What arrived was a breakfast masterpiece: a perfectly folded, soft, and fluffy omelet, brimming with bacon, ham, sausage, green peppers, and those green chili strips, all tucked beneath a fine dusting of shredded cheddar. It was massive, not just in size but in satisfaction. The plate came loaded with crispy hash browns and two golden pancakes (toast is an option if you prefer), making this meal nothing short of a breakfast feast. My companions tried the fajita omelette and eggs benedict, both earning high praise and clean plates. We arrived just after 9:00 AM to find the place buzzing, nearly every table was full, but we were seated quickly and the service didn’t skip a beat. A bonus in my book: their generously sized soda cups. My only critique? Spring for longer straws that match that large cup energy. If you’re serious about breakfast and appreciate eggs cooked with respect, Omelets Etc. delivers in all the right ways.

We went on a Sunday late morning. They were very busy, not a seat in the house, some folks were waiting outside. They estimated a 10 minute wait, it may have been at most 5 minutes. Coffee and drinks were offered and brought out right away. Once we ordered, there was not much of a wait and it came out fresh and hot. My bride got the special, crispy Chile relleno, the kiddo we were with got eggs and waffles. I got the Mexican omelet with a side of green chilli. Our waiter made sure our coffee stayed full and things were going well. There were no complaints on the food, we all had leftovers. Most of the food was typical restaurant style food. The green chilli was very good and on the spicy side. Definitely worth getting. The restaurant seating was open style and very loud with that many people. Lots of families with children. If we were in town again, we would eat here again. It was a good value and the food was decent.

I am VERY offended by the behavior of the employees at this restaurant. They made a mistake on our order and put Canadian bacon on the meal. The waitress asked if we were okay with it. And we told her we cannot eat pork. She took it to the back and had the Canadian bacon pulled out of the meal and gave it back to us. I told her it is against our religion to eat pork and even things that the pork has dripped on. Clearly Canadian bacon had grease and juices that drip out of it. Having it in the center of my wife’s plate; means we cannot eat it.

They took it back to remake it. Which besides the fact that I do not believe that they remade it; I was watching them from my seat and could tell they were making fun of us for not taking the food. First of all, if we asked for a meal without a specific item on it, and it is not made properly; there is no reason I should be ok with it and eat it anyways. Even if it is not a religious issue or allergy.

This mistake can be deadly to people with allergies. It was just a lucky break that my wife and I have religious reasons for not eating pork. If we were allergic to an ingredient we would be spending the night in the ER.

Also, no matter what happens, as a business owner I would be upset about the fact that my customers witnessed the staff mocking them and making fun of them. That is without the legal rights to religious freedom and to not be abused, harassed, or discriminated against for our religion. There are thousands, probably millions, of Jewish and Muslim people in Colorado. None of which can eat pork. And technically all religions should not eat pork because even the Bible mentions it about ten times. So why...

First, the atmosphere is a busy one so lots of talking, clinking of tableware, etc. The greeter kindly and quickly put 2 tables together for our group of 5 ole gals. So we were seated almost immediately after that! Only one from our group had been there before and it came highly recommended. None of us were disappointed. Milla served us promptly when we were finally ready. Hint: Take a look at the menu BEFORE heading there...there's a lot to look over and choose from. The menu is laid out well and our server, Milla, was great in explaining where things were--I think we took too much of her time, but she was wonderful taking time with us! She patiently and kindly answered all our questions. I have a specific dietary regimen and, when asking her questions, I was able to put a meal together that I could enjoy!!! Doesn't happen very often in some COS eateries. Every staff member I encountered were courteous and helpful. When our meals came, I was surprised that the plate was quite full [not small plates here!] and the omelette was huge--at least in my estimation!!! I actually got to take home 2/3 of it b/c I was FULL!!! The price was reasonable...$9.99. OH!...the bacon...I enjoy it best very well done--and it was to perfection!!! There were 3 long pieces and crunchy as I like it best. As ole ladies do...and often...we all critiqued our meal with each other and all concurred that we were going to return...and just maybe more often than we usually do with other eateries! MEGA KUDOS to the staff and this eatery!!! I highly recommend you give it a try...and I'm sure you'll go back soon afterward and maybe even again and...

It was busy when we got here so we knew there was going to be wait time. The hostess took our name and said it would be a 15 min wait. (They never asked if we would like a table inside our out) There was 2 dirty tables outside, we figured they were just busy and needed some time to get to the tables outside. Nope! Another couple came in and was seated outside….my fiancé went back in and asked why they got seated first they responded “because they asked for us to clear the table”. Another couple went in and they got seated as well! I then walked in myself and told them, there is a completely open table outside that just need to be cleaned. The man hostess then proceeded to tell me, “well you guys didn’t tell us you wanted to a seat outside”! (What kind of service is that!? First off you left 2 table dirty at a busy hour time! Then you never asked the costumer if they would prefer inside or outside then blame the costumer for not telling you they would like outside when you only asked how many ppl for a table?) we had to leave, not because the wait was long but because of the lack of understanding how to hold your service at a busy time. Especially leaving 2 table dirty and waiting for your costumer to ask you to clean a table for them. I’m disappointed that we didn’t get to try the amazing food it looks like they serve just because of the lack of service. Please train your employees better with maintaining busy...
