Safeway Bakery — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Very frustrated with my experience here. My husband and daughter stopped in to order a cake. My husband told the gentleman what we wanted and then handed him his phone where the guy wrote down all the details directly from my text message. We go to pick up the cake and it’s brown and blue when we wanted an all black cake. I informed the lady it was supposed to be black. She says nope there’s nothing on here that says black it only says chocolate buttercream icing. She then told my daughter she could sprinkle some black sprinkles on it. She didn’t offer to try to fix it or look into it to see where things went wrong. Both my w and daughter tells me they told them black and that the guy even confirmed with them and my husband said he saw it written on the paper. I asked the lady to see the paper and part of it is ripped off. Not sure where things went wrong. I understand things happen and sometimes there’s miscommunication but to not even be offered to try and fix it and to seem completely unconcerned with the situation rubbed me wrong. My daughter hated the look of the cake and I felt bad. It was too late to go elsewhere and order another one. thankfully, the taste was great so very satisfied there. Just not a satisfactory...
