So, first off, I normally do not write reviews as I feel that most don't pay attention to them. However, my latest experience with this Sonic has changed my mind.
I preordered mine and my pregnant wife's food before heading over as we live relatively close by. I ordered a Fritos CC Wrap (note as it was not a Jr. size), Large Fritos Chili Pie with Jalapenos, Jr. Fritos CC Burger, and 2 Limeades. It came to approximately $12 so not too bad. The problem came when we received and went to eat. The Wrap was nearly flat and did not feel like the normal size but rather that of the Jr. The Chili pie which was in the large box looked more like Fritos covered in jalapenos and a sprinkle of CC instead of the other way around. Finally, the Limeade tasted more like water with a spritzer rather than a Limeade.
I realize by this point most would have stopped reading but I feel I would be doing a disservice to the company in which I first began my employment history if I did not post this and let it be known. I also wish to say that this experience bears no ill will towards the company and more to the location/staff who were not "doing right by the customer." Many will ask why I didn't bring it up while there. I worked in a Sonic kitchen. If a customer complained, we had to remake the whole order most times. I felt it was easier and less stressful on everyone involved if I just posted my irritation here instead.
For those that read this, I thank you. For those at the Sonic tonight, 12/14/18, I'm sorry and disappointed. That was subpar execution on the food and drink. Please try and do better. You're action or lack thereof reflects on more than just you're location. It reflects on those who have taught you, hired you and kept you employed. Think on that.
Once again thank you for reading and I'm sorry to have to post a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not one to usually leave reviews but something really needs to change with this location. Iāve been twice in the last few weeks and itās just taken forever each time. It usually takes long because I think theyāre pretty understaffed but upon going tonight I waited at the order kiosk for like 30 minutes. And then I was told it would only be another minute so I asked the lady how much longer cause I had already been there for a long time. Keep in mind, there were only two people ahead of me in line and I was probably waiting in total for about 45 minutes. I tried to be polite about asking but she was pretty short and rude with me. I go up to the window and she had forgotten something on my order. The poor young man who was manning the window seemed really stressed out and gave me the missing item for free. I donāt know if she was the manager but the only woman I saw in there seemed to just be yelling at the other guys who were working with her. I think I counted at least three workers, maybe 4 and so I have no idea why it shouldāve taken that long to order and get my food. Then the lady I saw yelling and walking around, she was black and a bit larger (not trying to be rude, just descriptive) basically threw my food at me and didnāt apologize or anything. The only person that apologized to me was the young man that gave me the forgotten item for free. Whoever the manager is, whether it is that woman or someone else you really need to do better. Iām very disappointed with how this establishment has been conducted lately and you and your management really need to figure out...

I don't usually give zero ratings. The food was absolutely worth it, though. The only thing on my order that was good was the drink.
I got the hickory BBQ cheeseburger combo with onion rings (to add to it because I thought it might be good) and fries on the side. I also got an order of the buffalo chicken bites (again, I thought they might be good).
The burger was old, cold and dry. It was also literally drowning in hickory sauce. Guys, "extra" doesn't mean "make it suffer and die". It means adding a little extra.
The fries were literally tough and chewy and old. They, too, were cold. I tried reheating them. Nope. That didn't cut it.
The onion rings were iffy, but also old and cold. The fry oil was wayyyy old.
This food is what happens if someone shows up to work, doesn't care for their job and doesn't understand food safety. To say that this was freshly made is an outright lie. This food was old and cold. That's the bottom line. For someone like myself who has an autoimmune condition, this is just flat unsafe.
How this place has a 4.9 star rating on GrubHub is literally beyond me. Looking here and on Yelp I can see the reality. Lesson learned. I'll not be trusting GH reviews again.
I'll spare you the photos. It looks like someone threw up on a plate and called it a burger.
Sorry if this is brutal, but I don't need to add anything here. They did the heavy...
