My only complaint is the security. I was pulled over giving myself an insulin shot. I was not in parking spot. However, I was having a diabetic issue and was trying to get my blood sugar under control,

Security cones up shines a light in my face and gets aggressive and rude telling me I was not in a parking spot. I tried to tell him I was not parking he walked away calling me something that sounded like stupid. I tried again but he was already yelling at me.

I do have severe PTSD and having a light shone in my eyes, yelled at, and disrespected was just three to many. All I wanted to do was check my blood sugar and give myself a shot. I did not expect someone to come up and get aggressive and hostile.

My response of telling to F off was also inappropriate. It was after though being provoked, and honestly I was not myself as I was feeling edgy from the diabetic issue.

Still when he first approached me if he had listen rather get aggressive it would have gone differently. My first words where, "I am sorry I am having a medical issue and I am trying to message someone." My friend was inside and I was wanting there help.

However, the bouncer was not concerned with listening just flexing his power. Seriously when someone says they are having a medical issue, they have a syringe, bin their hand a glucose meter on their dash. I would think the priority would be checking on them. I was on the snow bank. I was not blocking anyone in.

So I got thrown out before I ever got in and it was their last night open. My friend did come out and drove me to the ER. I was sad to see it close. Not anymore

Dave IMO is a great guy and he did a good job. However, security has often been looking for a confrontation. I have seen it before, but this was the first time I was the...

As a Cowboys patron of 15 years & an avid dancer, I was excited to try The Whiskey Baron. When I first arrived, I was impressed by the size of the place & the sunken dance floor was an amazing focal point. We were able to find a table that had a great view of the dancing; however, the service was terrible. During our 3.5 hour stay, we saw a server twice and that's only after getting up to go find her. Perhaps it's because she was on the dance floor during her shift! Is that your policy? When we did receive drinks, they were weak, inconsistenly poured, served in cheap plastic cups, and overpriced. I have no problem paying for drinks, but not if they are half shots with mostly soda (I watched the pours since I had to go get the drinks from the bar.) We then decided to order the grilled chicken sliders via the walk-up method (waited there for 10 minutes before someone noticed) and they were tasty. The live band was a pleasant surprise & the music was decent. Perhaps the dance floor wouldn't clear after each song if they strung a few songs together instead of stopping and speaking unintelligibly in between each song. At a dance place, the goal is to keep the floor full, right? The mechanical bull is a fun feature, but nobody was riding it the whole time we were there. For a Saturday night, The Whiskey Baron should have been poppin'. It wasn't. Perhaps this is due to the reasons stated above. We came there to have a great experience & were disappointed. We wanted to share The Whiskey Baron with our large dance community. Sadly, that...

I would give this more stars except for one incident that happened. I have been here before and always had fun I loved the band! But the manager or whoever she is was extremely rude. I am gf and can’t eat anything they have for food. I didn’t realize that until I got there. I needed to eat so I went to the door and asked if it would be ok for me to order from an outside source and have it delivered. The security at the door Didn’t even hesitate when he told me that I could do that. I did. When it was there, I went to the door to get it. This woman who never even introduced herself proceeded to tell me to go outside. I followed her out there where she lectured me about ordering outside food and how I couldn’t take it inside. I explained the pathetic menu that did not fulfill my dietary needs as well as that I had asked for permission. I explained that I would have never ordered it and spent the $25 if I knew I wouldn’t be able to take it inside. Not only did she not care, she never offered any compensation or any further solutions. She told me I had to eat it outside or in my car. She Didn’t even know if I had Ubered there. I’m disgusted with her…poor manager if she’s actually the manager. She is a terrible manager. Her people...

Our favorite night here is Wednesdays... Advanced line dance lesson with great teachers, 18+ crowd, more modern songs, more line dancing overall and the most popular ones. All you can drink for $10. Thursdays is ladies night. No cover and free drinks for ladies 10pm-12. They do a pretty good job of playing line dancing songs. The djs will take requests, but rarely ever play them...or give the excuse of "I don't have that song" or "I don't play that music until after 10". 🙄 . The Friday teacher needs to slow down!! Friday is supposed to be beginner line dance lessons and it was not beginner friendly at all. She needs to say the name of the dance and the song. Play a song preview before starting the lesson. She went way too fast. There were restarts and tags in every dance! She uses terminology no real beginner would know. My husband called it the Bataan death march of line dancing. Website needs to be updated. We arrived for the free dance lessons and were charged cover. Overall good people and good vibes.

I have yet to try the food, so I don't have an opinion. It is however, lots of fun and I thoroughly enjoy ladies' night on Thursdays. As far as service, there are 2-3 bartenders on Ladies' Night who are very patient and actually put alcohol in your drinks. Unfortunately there is one gal who deliberately gives you juice or soda, refuses to smile or even speak really. That is the reason for my 4 stars instead of 5. I feel sad for her and don't understand why she always seems so miserable. The line dancing is super fun, and although the set for songs is fairly predictable, it's still a good time. I like Whiskey because the age range of folks attending is broad and the crowd of people is typically pleasant and friendly. Last time I went was for Halloween and I had a blast!

The food is absolutely horrible. Make sure you eat before you come here. They advertise their menus and encourage you to order food. The serving sizes are smaller than a grade school cafeteria. They were out of half of their menu at 7:30 PM. The wings were an embarrassment. They are the smallest wings that I have ever seen. At first, I thought it was a joke. The wings were smaller than my eight year old son’s fingers. It was a major disappointment to come to watch live music and dance AND we hoped to eat a meal. I want my money back.
