Edit as I can't respond to owner: I understand you can't control how others act. However, you can control the guidelines and rules you have for artists that sell at your shop, and disrespecting your customers and their belongings perhaps needs to be something that is more clearly stated or reviewed. Because that was super gross behavior of people you allow to sell their art and work with in some capacity. I love coming to this place so much. I came in this morning, had some small chat with the barista and then I settled in at a couch to read and have my coffee and breakfast. I left my backpack, my book, and my coffee at my spot and went to the bathroom. A couple of women had set up their stuff at a nearby table. They didn't approach me before I went to the bathroom although they had plenty of time and opportunity to do so. As I was in the bathroom, they decided to completely take over my spot and simply told me they needed it to hang up art. Didn't ask nicely, didn't ask before I went to the bathroom, nothing. Just snuck in while I went to the bathroom and moved the table with all of my stuff aside. What in the world happened to manners!? I am so besides myself right now. It was so incredibly rude and I left right after. I just can't believe the manners of an obvious local artist that sells here,...
Read moreCannot emphasize enough that this place is not worth your time.
Every time I’ve ordered (4 times now) I got horribly sick for a couple days afterwards, pretty obvious it’s them when I rarely eat out and it’s happened every single time.
The other few times I went to meet up with friends I’d bring my own drink or a small snack/container of food so that I can stay and socialize since I refuse to eat there, and I just walked in today to a big sign on the door saying that each table would get a $25 fee for bringing in outside food.
This establishment is not allergy friendly so the only reason they would implement something so crass is because they’d rather find ways to charge customers more than to make edible and reasonably priced food.
Not to mention every time my friends and I do meet there we can barely find seating to accommodate all of us what with the furniture being so unmatched and spread out so randomly. Not friendly to groups of more than 4.
The food also takes a ridiculously long time to get served. They either need more staff or less complicated food, it should not take a half hour to get served a simple salad or eggs and bacon (which I got ice cold and watery).
Don’t waste your time, wish I could...
Read moreDear god. Stopped here while on a road trip and had the most insane interaction with the barista while trying to order a coffee.
I tried to order a drink with “cardamom infused half and half”— which, in my uncultured mind means half and half infused with cardamom. Was served pretentiousness and attitude with a side of terrible coffee. The half and half is not infused. The cardamom is added to the coffee grounds. I pointed out that the description is inaccurate and the barista replied, “I’m an herbalist. I infuse things all the time.” Well clearly that does not include half and half. I was very sleep deprived and the misleading description triggered something deep within so I apologized to her and she replied “I shine light to you” as if she wasn’t also being incredibly rude 🤣🤣🤣.
I ended up getting a drip coffee. The barista said she was “making me a fresh pot” but gave me a cup less than a minute later so I’m guessing she was mad and gave me the burnt dregs of the old pot. I took a sip and dumped it at Sonic. It tasted like the worst gas station coffee...
