I’m sad to be posting a negative review but I bought an expensive labradorite bracelet here for $96. It was expensive for what it was but I was really happy with the shop and the experience and the sales associate was nice and talked to me about how all the pieces had a lifetime warranty and so on. The bracelet broke within a week. I came back and asked if I could get a refund. The woman I spoke with was kinda rude and refused. She said they could fix it but I couldn’t get a refund. I said the piece that broke was quite thin and was just going to break again but she didn’t care and again was a bit rude. I accepted the fix seeing as there was nothing else to do. But like I said the bracelet broke again. I didn’t mind that the items at this shop were a bit overpriced because like I said the experience was nice and the first person I interacted with made it seem like if there was a problem with an item it would be handled. I even signed up for a membership with them. But I’m pretty disappointed with how I was treated when an expensive purchase broke a couple days after purchase. I don’t want to go back and have it fixed by the unpleasant person, and I can’t get a refund. I would have kept shopping there if they were more respectful and refunded the...
Read moreThe stores name caught my eye. I collect different stones, rocks and crystals. We were in town for sports competitions and stopped by on break. I almost didn’t spend my money in here because the moment I walked in I felt their eyeballs on me the whole time as if they assumed I was a thief. Made me so uncomfortable and disrespected. I had my two kids and one with special needs and felt so judged for being in there. My husband came in soon after. I was looking for a big piece of raw Rose Quartz and they did not have it. My husband knew I also wanted a rhodonite. He found me a heart shaped one that I purchased and my daughter picked out a pendant. I mentioned that I could feel her eyeballs on us the whole time and she said we have to and pointed to a picture of a thief on the wall! I understand that but be a little less obvious maybe. Noticed the free stone basket for review. I loved turquoise and it looked like there was turquoise in there, but the gal working was clueless to what it was, the same one that was rude and followed me around like a damn criminal! She kept saying it’s free for a review. Well here’s my review, Loren or maybe it’s Lauren was classless, rude and I would hate for an employee like that representing a...
Read moreAbsolutely wonderful shop. Higher class vibe with crystal clear cases displaying some museum quality specimens. A little more expensive in regards to price, but that's understandable considering the upkeep and cleanliness the shop has.
Around a year ago, I purchased a peridot ring that I thought was beautiful. Unfortunately, it didn't fit, so the employee graciously checked online to see if they made my size to have it special ordered for me; they didn't, so I purchased the ring anyways to get it resized elsewhere. Sadly, due to how the stone was set in the ring, I was unable to get it resized without risking damage to the stone. The store owner graciously let me return the ring and get a different item of equal value. Pictured is the Kambaba Jasper sphere I chose with that opportunity.
I went once again yesterday and the nice employees helped me with purchasing a beautiful Lapis Lazuli egg. I will definitely start stopping by here more often, as I forgot how awesome this place is! Pictured are all the treasures I've gotten from Geofossiles...
