Viva El Taco Mexican Food — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I went through the drive through and ordered three tacos and two burritos. My friend changed their mind and wanted chicken tacos instead of the chicken burrito. I asked the guy if I could change my order. He said no and just stood there. I told him I no longer wanted to burrito and wasn't going to pay for it. He slammed the drive through window and walked off. When he came back he asked what my new order was. I told him a beef burrito with nothing on it, three rolled tacos, two chicken tacos, and a beef taco. He said it was $15.19. I paid and again he slammed the window without giving me my receipt. I got my food, immediately drove around to check it, and was missing my beef burrito. I went it and told him I would like my beef burrito and he told me no. When I told him I just paid for it he said I didn't and that the order had be cancelled. He tried charging me another $6.02. I walked out. It was 2.30 in the morning so there wasn't really another place to go. They have horrible attitudes and horrible...

Just a couple of facts: Pros: they have a generous salsa bar. Also, the lunch and dinner items are pretty good. Had them many times before such as quesadilla and burritos.

Cons: Breakfast burrito= $12.49 !!!! never heard of a breakfast burrito at $12.49. The one I got was probably worth about $2.50. First of all, they don’t ask you what you want in it they just throw up bacon and ham on the grill and make some sort of burrito that they think is OK. I only wanted egg, cheese, and potato. So for potatoes they put in french fries, I thought I was going to get a burger, french fries are not good in a burrito because that’s all you taste are the fries. Hash browns is a better choice. The last thing I’ll say is there was very little cheese. This was not a breakfast burrito that I know. Stopped through the drive thru this evening to pick up some dinner before heading home. I ordered a pollo quesadilla and a small pinã. I high key wish I could’ve ordered the large Pinã. But I’m out here ballin on a budget. The service was prompt and efficent. Received my order in minutes. The moment the Pinã hit my taste buds it was like an orgasm in my mouth! The chicken quesadilla was juicy and stuffed with the perfect amount of extra cheese just like I like it. Was rather annoyed with the fact they charge extra for crème but it is what it is. If I had had crème and guacamole with this order along with a Large Pina I would have rated this experience a 10 star! But the food was scrumptious and I continue to come to this spot!
