Great potential, less than great execution.
The good: -The atmosphere inside is gorgeous and pleasant, think industrial warehouse but with plants and comfy chairs throughout mixed in with metal seating for an eclectic vibe. -The coffee we got was really well done and the perfect temperature even!
The bad: -The menu has a wide variety which can be good but this is enormous, bloated even. I felt overloaded by the options and the full menu is only available in-store on one pair of stands with small font, so you have to stand in front of the cashier awkwardly and hold up the line to go through the crowded menu while people queue up behind you. Mean while there is a simplified "coffee/not coffee" menu that's almost hidden (not listed on the aforementioned stands either) up behind the cashier, completely out of sight when standing at the bar to order or at the stands. There is a third (incomplete) menu with some food items on it written in pretty colors but the colors are all mismatched and it makes reading difficult from afar. Then there is yet another fourth menu that describes the iced coffee flight up on the counter; some of which aren't even coffee which was odd. I get the feeling that there are conflicting visions of how to set up things and it shows at the bar area. -The cubano panini I got was dry, overcooked, and was kind of bland aside from the giant slice of pickle in it (good news for pickle lovers though!) -The staff just call out the drink items instead of using the receipt number (or letter as the case may be) which probably causes a lot of confusion for everybody.
For the price we paid I was expecting better food quality. Good coffee though. I wish they would trim the menu down and use the Enormous wall space behind the cashier to show the menu so customers could read the entire thing and take the 10 minutes required to read through everything instead of having two cramped stands with no clear directions and 4 separate/dissonant...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe used Third Space for our son's wedding welcome party - a Saturday night event for 80 people. Tanya and her staff did an outstanding job and all our guests were totally WOW'd! In the months and weeks leading up to the event, Tanya was super helpful and patient answering all our questions, giving us options to consider, working with us on some special requests we had, and helping us plan. In the days just prior to the event, we ran into logistics challenges being from out of state, and Tanya was very flexible and accommodating in helping us find solutions. The day of the event went like clockwork. We had Third Space cater a grazing table and taco bar. The grazing table was presented beautifully and had a wonderful and delicious assortment of food. The taco bar was tasty, fresh and abundant. We really appreciated being able to supplement with our own homemade desserts as well. The coffee and other drinks were great, and the espresso martinis we used to toast the bride and groom were to die for! The staff was outstanding, serving our guests professionally with unflagging smiles and keeping things running smoothly. The place was both roomy and cozy - we loved having the big garage doors open and the fairy lights on to add to the ambiance. This was truly a perfect place to have a casual event for a big crowd, and we received endless compliments from our guests. We've been to Third Space several times just for coffee and breakfast (including their deservedly "famous" avocado toast) and have never been disappointed. We were thrilled to find that their quality and excellence translated to a big event as well. We highly recommend Third...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCute atmosphere but thatās about all they have going for them. I ordered a quiche, and a cinnamon bun latte and asked for a high chair in which I was told they would bring it to me. I waited and waited for both the quiche and the High chair, in which both never came as we watched people who arrived after us receive their food. After my baby was crying for 30 minutes I just decided we need to leave and stop waiting for the food and high chair. When I asked for a refund for the quiche, the barista was really sweet and tried to refund me for it but their system was conveniently Down at this time so they were unable to refund me for the food they did not provide. She did say when the system comes back up she will try to refund it and offered for me to take the quiche to go in which I declined because I did not want to wait another 30 minutes for it. Hopefully I actually get a refund for the quiche. This was so overwhelming and stressful for no reason at all. We will not be returning.
Edit: the owner commented on this review, but are completely unaware that their store only has ONE high chair, which I just confirmed with the shift lead, and was not on the floor and available for me to just go grab thatās why the cashier said she would get it for me and bring it to my table. I am completely aware this is a counter coffee shop and pastries are called out when they are ready, my ham and cheese quiche was NEVER called out at the counter, which is why I requested a refund.
I spoke with the shift lead this morning and he was very helpful and we are working on...
