I've had to wait a few weeks, closer to 2 months considering if I wanted to post this review. I was harrassed and nearly assaulted by a customer at this location, a Karen if you will. My husband and I were working with my Service Dog in Training on restaurant manners and how to sit under a table and be quiet while we ate. Unfortunately every single one of the tables and floors that were available were covered with food so it really wasnt a good training ground for her to learn to ignore such tempations and honestly it was really gross to sit there and i didnt want to get on the staff to come clean the tables assuming a large lunch rush had just come in and they hadnt had the chance to catch up yet so I took my taco and went to the patio to eat while giving my dog a chance to just play on the patio (it was just a large side walk, no tables. ) And had given my pupper some water and play time. I had mentioned to one of the employees that we were still training her and that I would do as I did if my dog started to forget her manners. (Shes still in training and socialization. I try to get permission and had. ) My dog was starting to settle in and we were getting ready to go. Im blind, btw and my husband is elderly and also disabled. My husband went to go refill out sodas so we could leave and I was sitting in a pull out chair a bit away from out table with my dog resting close by. Karen had offered my dog water when we had first come in but I explained, that was a kind offer but we have her water bottle. I had announced to my husband when i came back in from giving my dog play time out side that I had watered her and she was infact ready to continue on to our next training spot. As my husband was refilling our drinks Karen creeped over, and I mean litterally taking a few inches toward us, stopping, and then creeping closer again. (My eyes dont work, but my ears do. ) Assuming she was just wanting to politely ask to pet my dog, I invited her over to do so explaining its not usually alright but being my dog is in socialization its okay this time... yet thats not what karen wanted at all. She started berating me and making things up about how I dont do this for my dog or force my dog to do that.... when every one else in the place had noticed me watering my dog, letting my dog have play and sniff time out side, asking permission in advance etc. I was honestly dumbstruck and called my husband over who, that being his first time meeting some one so entitled to tell his wife what to do with no provocation, did indeed get a little loud with her and I honestly, not knowing what else to do, shoved my husband outside, scooped up my dog to protect her from this crazed lady, and even did my best to bus my own table in one fowl swoop... but I realize now... where was the manager? Where was an employee to investigate what was going on and why this karen was harassing guests? It may not have been obvious that I am blind and it shouldnt matter in terms of offering respect to some one, but in terms of me being more vulnerable to violnence it deffinately matters. Not a single staff member or manager came out to deal with that karen for harrassing and screaming at other patrons for no reason. As a Service dog handler, yes it comes with the territory sadly that I will run into people, but most of the time I am able to rely on shop staff and security guards to keep my self, my husband and my service dog safe.... not here. the food is only Meh any way. I do know that substances have become a bigger problem out here so maybe karen was just another druggy but that only begs the question more, where was the staff and why did I have to protect myself, and my family on my own and prevent ourselves from becoming victims of her tyranny and possible violence. This is a major issue that honestly... I should have called in the cops for. where were the managers? why didnt they MANAGE things? I'm not mad at the teens being paid nothing but im furious...
Read moreI went into this Taco bell and used their new Kiosk machines instead of ordering with the cashier because I had a large order and didn't want to hold up the line. After several mins of navigating the screens I paid and began to wait for my order. First there was no way to print the reciept so it was a guessing game on how many drink cups to give me... then after waiting 20 mins and watching three people who came into the store after my order was complete recieve their order I asked for a refund. I was told they were working on my order now. I stated you can stop because I would like a refund. One of the employees named John who identified himself as the manager stated he couldn't refund it because of the amount. I said excuse me. He said sir let me finish your order and I will come talk to you. I stated you dont have to finish it because I want a refund. He then stated he couldn't refund it because it was ordered on the Kiosk. He once again stated let me finish your order sir and I will be up to help you. I wait another 4 or 5 mins for them to finished my $71.30 order then he came up. I told John I would like a refund because there were for sure...100 percent... 3 people who came into the store and ordered after I did and recieved their food before me. He said sir that is because of our protocols. He stated that he was making all our orders simultaneously. I said so instead of making them wait their turn in line he chose to make me wait. He stated no sir... we were making your order at the same time. I then explained it to him like a math problem.... IF YOU HAVE THREE EMPLOYEES THAT ARE WORKING SIMULTANEOUSLY ON FOUR ORDERS... YOU ARE TAKING MAN POWER AWAY FROM MY ORDER THAT WAS FIRST. ESSENTIALLY LETTING THEM SKIP THE LINE. He stated sir if they had to wait till we had completed your order it would have been alot longer of a wait for them. I said isn't that the way it should be. 1. I ordered before them and 2. Order more of your product then all three of them combined. If you were trying to keep anyone happy would it not be the customer that was first in line and had the larger order. After going around and around, trying to explain this several time and him continually telling me he could not refund my money I asked well what can you do for the inconvenience then... he stated nothing... I then demanded for him to figured out how to refund my money... he stated there was a way and he would call the store manager so I could talk to him... I stated I thought you were the manager... he replied Sir In the assistant manager(misrepresented himself)... after waiting a good bit longer I finally recieved a refund and a phone number to call to the Area Coach... more to follow on the final disposition of this... moral of this story 1. Dont use the garbage kiosks in taco bell 2. Loyal customer with big orders expect to wait so smaller orders can be accommodated...
Read moreSo, we go to Taco Bell on Vickers yesterday and they just did a terrible job. So we went to this Taco Bell and the guy at the window was really nice, and I told him that this Taco Bell was the only good one because it's the only one that makes the food right and doesn't take 50 years. We reordered the Cantina Chicken Burrito add guac, and added the chicken nugget deluxe box. Unfortunately, when we hot home, we found out that the only thing they left out was the actual chicken nuggets lol. I don't blame them too much because the window guy was helping with the food, too, so they must have been short staffed. We called and the manager said we could go back and they would remake the order. Great.
So check this out. To me, "we'll remake the order" means the whole box, because you guys messed up and making me waste time and gas to get what I was already supposed to have gotten the night before should be compensated in some way, yeah? No, no. The girl at the window will only give us the chicken nuggets. That was really disappointing but I didn't want to just pick up 5 nuggets, so we told her we would pay the extra to make it the meal, and she says she'll charge me for each item individually. That's more expensive than the original meal, seriously? Whatever, we just asked to add a whole additional box.
I don't know how to explain it, but her voice was pleasant but she had a very Impatient attitude the entire time. She forgot the drink, my sister had to ask for it, and it had ice even though we asked for no ice. We let it go and left because she was clearly trying to get rid of us. Then we pull over to check the bag, and she didn't give us napkins or the sauce she asked if we wanted (sauces are very important to me, I hate dry food). We ordered a bean burrito with extra cheese and extra extra red sauce, which we paid for, and there was no extra cheese or red sauce. I don't know what her problem was but the whole interaction was terrible.
I don't even mind mistakes because shit happens, and everyone makes mistakes and needs grace. But when you're having a bad attitude, refusing to compensate for a past mistake, and you still make mistakes! That's outrageous to me. Do your job to the letter and don't make a single mistake if you are going to have a bad attitude and treat people like a burden when they are trying to get a past mistake corrected. Better yet, get out of customer service. It's clearly not for you.
Now there is no...
