The Asian market down the street was out of live lobster so I turned to the next best place. Taco Bell. (Based on a true story that just happened)
My anxiety usually keeps me from making smart choices and my parents often order for me but I didn't get this restraining order for nothing. I stand in front of the self order screen and (as usual) get those real good boy burrito supremes (they're like a taco, but in a burrito) and press 'order'. The screen takes in my request and asks me for my name. A truly terrible decision on its part. The possibilities were endless. I have this blank slate right in front of me and I can only pick one name. I think long and hard. Longer and harder than I've ever thought in my life (and I took the ACTs). Suddenly, in a spark of pure wisdom, it comes to me. My hands shake with the weight of my genius as I slowly type out the words God has given to me.
I press the final button and turn around to watch my food be prepared. Once the two beautiful burrito babies were swaddled and plopped on the plate, the staff begin to gather around the order screen like moths to a lamp. Confused smiles spread among them and the manager looks like she's ready to quit. After a few moments of incoherent talking, the group decides on someone to deliver my children. A tall, thin man walks up to the counter and looks around for a moment. After thinking over whether or not minimum wage is enough to do this job he quietly calls out....
Read moreI don’t know why I continue to give this place a chance.
Placed an order at location 8:22pm with my wife for just a few items. We waited until 8:50 before I decided to go inquire about our order. During this time, the staff were giggling, screaming, and playing in the back of the kitchen. There were only 2 other customers that came through the drive through the duration of our stay. I went to ask the employees about our order, and I was met with bloodshot eyes and laughing. They appeared to be intoxicated. The floors of the kitchen were covered in cheese, meat, lettuce, and liquid. At this point I decided I had enough and asked for a refund. I was told I could not have a refund… We waited until 9:05 until we finally received our food and went to our car. It was there my wife informed me we did not receive her drink. I went back inside to ask if I could get the Pepsi and the employee that provided the drink did so with the utmost attitude. They threw their head back and sighed, poured the drink, and then proceeded to slam it into the counter (soda flew out of the top) and turned his back to me and walked off.
The owner really needs to reflect on his management team at this location, as there appeared to be none. Employees unsupervised and possibly intoxicated, no quality control, attitude towards customers, all a recipe...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but today I had an absolutely amazing experience. Usually when I go to Taco Bell I never have an experience worth talking about. It’s just your basic fast food drive thru. Today I went super late which I notice is when the workers become the rudest. Not this evening. This evening there was one guy, he was so polite while taking my order. Then when I get to the window I saw him scrambling around working so hard to tend to all parts of the business. He collected my payment and apologized for not greeting us when we first got to the window. With everything I was handed he apologized for it taking too long. I honestly didn’t even wait that long, but he was trying so hard. I then decided to tip him for his hard work and his politeness the whole time. As he was taking an order he handed us our food, we drove off, but he realized we forgot something and ran out the restaurant. He came onto academy just to make sure we got all of our order. Absolutely amazing and I’m glad to see he...
