Wendy's — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

It was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I attempted to order through the Wendy’s app but wasn’t able to check out (yet somehow they still charged my CC for food never received). So, I decided to just go to Wendy’s to order since you can claim the offers in person (this was on 01/15/22 & 6:15pm). The 2 people at the counter were very kind & tried to work with me to get the special offer. For some reason the offer wouldn’t go through & that’s when the rude, ignorant “manager” stepped in. He claimed the offer wouldn’t go through because we weren’t ordering “premium” burgers (we were NOT attempting to order their value burgers). We were told that the offer only applied to 8 or 9 items even though the Wendy’s website boasts about 20 premium sandwiches. If he was just mistaken, I wouldn’t have gotten so upset at the situation, but he was 100% insistent that a double baconater & Big Bacon Cheddar burger were NOT premium sandwiches. He wasn’t just rude he was condescending, narcissistic & unwilling to explain why these incredibly expensive burgers weren’t premium burgers! At no point did we request a value burger! In the end we just left & he dismissed us as if we were the ones in the wrong. The other 2 employees looked chagrined & embarrassed, but what could they do? That arrogant nut job of a manager was higher up the food chain then them. I go to that Wendy’s at least once a week & this was easily the WORST experience I’ve ever had there. I am absolutely livid & disgusted with the treatment we received last night. AND to add insult to injury, that app STOLE MY MONEY! This is the most messed up location I have ever been too. A bunch of brain dead idiots working there. Went through drive thru. They put no ice in any of the 3 drinks we got. We were given dirty looks the whole time. I told them to put ketchup and s'awesome sauce in the bag, it's handed to me without that. Then I asked again for it and she went away for 2 full minutes, before returning and asking "what did you want", so then I yelled at her what I wanted again. She handed them too us so obvious and intentionally in a way that they almost dropped the ground. The order was wrong, and they replaced three chicken sandwiches with nuggets. They should have informed us if they were out of a specific deal and not just let it be a surprise for the client. They were dead, no shred of an excuse. I was initially told to go through the drive-thru for third party delivery as per request of the owner, but that is never happening again, next time i'm going in and the stupidity will be recorded. Went after work pulled up at the drive thru and the lady said it’s late so everything that’s ordered is made fresh so I was like great that sounds good I ordered their four for four chicken sandwich with bacon and lettuce once I get to the window I paid and the young man said they had no more regular nuggets and that the only thing they had available was the spicy nuggets which I agreed to they said it shouldn’t take long because they’re making it fresh I waited finally they gave me my food I pulled over to the side started eating took a bite of the sandwich the sandwich was cold and dry which that tells me right there that it’s not fresh so I went on ahead and take a bite of the spicy chicken nuggets that was also dry and very hard I went around and went to the drive-through to try to speak with the individual to see if they can give me a fresh order they never answered I went to the window they said they were close for the day I said I need my food remade they said they are not able to do that because everything else is closed mind you it’s was 11:45pm at this point I will call tomorrow and speak with the manager... not good...
