Whataburger — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Let me just say I eat at this restaurant.Religiously, at least 4 times a week but not no more I went in at 10:40ish pm and I was the only one inside the restaurant i placed my order for a cheeseburger, only ketchup on the burge it is now 11:27pm and I'm having to ask for a refund. Because the store has made 2 attempts to make my hamburger with only ketchup and cheese and continue to give the wrong replacement burger on top of that, staff has had to ask that burger be remade 3 separate times because they're not making my replacement meal. After 47 minutes of sitting there, waiting for a simple hamburger with only ketchup and cheese to be given to me to get the excuse for management. That that's my fault. I should have done it myself. Replacing your meal instead of telling somebody else to do it. It's unacceptable. I love this restaurant but after this, i'm done the entire experience it was horrible and the fact that I watched multiple staff members ask about my food roughly every fifteen minutes especially being the only customer in the entire restaurant should not have token nowhere near that long. Management, I hope you see this is came in on 10/12/24 i came in and ordered at approximately 10:40pm. I was the only one in the restaurant sitting down, waiting forever look at your camera and see how long I sat there waiting for a simple burger replacement of only ketchup & cheese nothing else but instead, I keep getting served a a burger with mustard, ketchup and cheese, or a cheeseburger. I've tried this location 3 times. Love whataburger. Nostalgic from all of the TX baseball trips. But I am 0/3 on food at this place. I keep going back because I had high confidence I just caught them on a one-off (multiple times) but this food or the folks who are handling it just haven't gotten it right for me and I won't be back. 1st time, lukewarm burger, cold fries. 2nd time, I was asked to pullover for "fresh fries" and the gal was super sweet about it. But she referenced fresh and hot fries like 3 times and it was very obvious that these fries were neither hot, nor fresh. Maybe she could have checked after i parked and waited for over 5 minutes. The burger was good, though! 3rd time, very fresh, hot fries! And a freshly cooked burger... between bread that was maybe just slightly harder than hockey pucks. I wish I could bring myself to visit yall again but ive given the burger to my dog twice and neither he nor I need to be eating fast food anyway. maybe whataburger should just remain where the texans know how to do it right. I received my order which was a burger no cheese with only lettuce mayo and ketchup fries a drink and a shake. When I unwrapped my sandwich and I saw a burger with a very grotesque amount of ketchup mayo and lettuce it was dripping terribly and and even though the sight of it made me sick to my stomach I tried being a good sport and tried to get a large amount of paper towels to wipe it off and possibly get to eat some of it and NOPE even wiping it off with several paper towels it seemed to just continue to be soggy and dripping. It was evident the person preparing my food knew quite well that they made a very disgusting sandwich for someone to consume this experience will be a reminder to not eat at this establishment ever again. The food handler is a very disgusting person and possibly in need of some kind of undeserved pat on the back and a severe attitude adjustment, new eye exam, and a major reevaluating of their work performance and refresher course in burger school and a watchful eye over them watching for food safety violations. 6/22/2025 5:25pm How pathetic can't even do simple things...
