Seems like every time I go to this place the food gets a bit worse. I don't even want to imagine where they got the carrots from. Suffice it to say, they were bad. Poorly handled. The taste of them? Don't think I have ever had worse... I also ordered 20 mixed flavored wings. I chose this place because I was hoping that I wouldn't have to settle for mediocre. Like from Walmart's deli. These wings actually made me wish I had gone to Walmart. I chose 4 flavors. Mild buffalo, garlic Parmesan, mango habanero, and lemon pepper. The flavors were okay but the wings were significantly overcooked. This made the meat hard. Actually causing teeth and gum discomfort when attempting to chew. This is your namesake product and this is all you do. All day and evening long. How can you still not have this down to a science? Is it really that difficult? I was able to suffer through two of them and three more were missing, so five were eaten by a house full of people at the football party. Was running late and this place was the closest to the ultimate destination. I don't care what the reason is or what happens in the future, this will 100% be my last visit to this location. Read moreOrdered online and still had to wait an hour just to find out that the order had been behind the cashiers the whole time while they were too busy chit chatting. I asked the cashier how long the food had been there and he smirked and just gave me my food without saying a word. What seemed to be the shift lead was right next to the cashier and didn’t even offer to remake the fries after they had been sitting there for about in hour. I asked if I could get my fries remade (since they were cold) and the shift leader said “yes but the reason why your food has been there is because we’ve been calling out the name and nobody came to get it”which was not true I was there the whole time. I had also asked for my wings to be extra wet and they in fact were not wet and once I tried to address that problem the shift leader interrupted me and told the cashier to tell the cooks to remake the whole order, she looked at me rolled her eyes and told me it would be an extra 20-25 minute wait. At this point I just wanted to leave so I asked for an extra side of sauce. That’s when the shift lead starts getting visibly irritated and says “you guys made me lose count” referring to counting the drawers. Honestly I don’t understand how they can have such a rude...
Read moreMy wife and I put in an online order so that we could just grab our food and go. However, when I got to the store, they did not have any organization. I finally made it through the line, only to have the cashier walk away from me to go into the back and stand around talking with the other staff. I finally was able pay for my online order, only to sit and wait, and watch as the worker did not even check the online orders on the shelf. So I sat down for 15 minutes while the cashier began to casually chat with some other customers, before the same worker finally checked the shelf and saw that my order had been sitting there the whole time. So not only was my wife and I's food cold, but they didn't even get my order right, giving me buffalo wings instead of the Cajun wings I ordered. I've never had these problems with any other location, just the S Academy location. I don't know if it's a lack of care about their jobs or a genuine case of poor leadership, but the problems I experienced have rid me of my desire to return to this location.
