Alpine Pastries — Restaurant in Colorado

This is a wonderful place to go to enjoy a nice cup of coffee with one of their wide selection of daily fresh baked pastries. prices are very reasonable and you will be hard pressed to find better baked or better tasting pastries anywhere in the mountains or denver. The owners are fabulous people to work with. they will make custom cakes for any occasion and some of their wedding cakes are downright works of art. They have a case full of cookies of nearly every description offering a large selection to choose from that will appeal to nearly any taste. the shop is located in the small town of evergreen near the traffic light in the center of town, just behind the baskin robbins ice cream shop. If your in the town for whatever reason it is a worthwhile stop just to see what the day's selections of pastries, cakes, pies and breads are. You will find it difficult not to leave without something in their display cases you can enjoy at home. I highly recommend you adding this shop to your itinerary if you are ever in town....

I do not appreciate the lack of human decency from the older lady that was working during the time of our visit. My husband had got sick unfortunately and he had threw up in the bathroom.

My husband is extremely kind and thoughtful, and doesn't enjoy making trouble for anyone. He had spent over thirty minutes trying to clean it up as best as he could. He took so long that other workers and our friends started getting worried about him. The workers there offered to clean up the rest and disinfect the restroom. As we try to leave to get out of the way, the older lady working decided to be snarky at my husband, asked him why isn't he staying to clean and disinfect things.

Not an ounce of sympathy was given. My husband had apologized and yet was treated this way? It's unacceptable and definitely not...

I am fortunate enough to live near this amazing bakery that maintains the dedication and flavor of days gone by. I have tried a variety of their products and I'm always impressed with how much detail goes into these handcrafted goods.

Everything I've ever had has been very fresh.I have tried their donuts and they're delicious, too delicious in fact! So I can't keep them around too much. The pastries, bread, cookies and chocolates I order here weekly are always delicious and fresh!

Definitely try this place if you have not yet. They have seating inside and in the nice weather, outside as well and there's parking in back if there's no street...
