Tl;dr : Rude employees. Poor service. Long wait time. Poor cleanliness. Bad food.
My family and I have visited this Einstein's nearly every week for several months. We have normally never had a problem. Today unfortunately was different. My mother and I went in and saw the place was fairly busy. Understandable for a Sunday. However the Employees took forever to take a few orders as we stood in line for a good 10-15 minutes when there was only 3-4 people in front of us. As we got to the front the Employee taking the orders was blunt. Not very friendly. We decided it would be best to keep it professional/strait to business as to not cause any delays. Now as we saw it was busy we knew it would take a while to get our food. However, the employee failed to inform us how long it would take or even how far behind they were. My mother and I went and sat down and watched as the employees slowly brought out peoples food. (There was a good 8 people in front of us waiting.) Which was unusual as there was at least 5-6 employees working. It should have been a line of efficiency. We waited 20 minutes and had heard nothing about our food. My mother went up to check and noticed a bag that sitting there containing 2 bagels. She asked one of the employees simply 'who's bag is that?' to which the employee stated 'I don't know.' and went off to ask another employee. While my mother waited up by the side counter she carefully tried to peak into the bag just to see if it was ours to which the employee snapped saying 'I told you once before ma'am that isn't yours!'. At that point one of our items finally came out. As my mother watched the same employee that snapped at us once before snapped at us again. 'Yours is up next.' At that point we saw that some of the employees where just throwing things around aggressively causing bagels to fall into the wrong bins and for food to fall onto the floor. The place seemed to be a mess as none of the tables where cleaned off and there was trash on the floor. It took another 20 minutes before our food to actually come out. We where nothing but kind and understanding to them. We said nothing negative and just did our best to be patient with them as both my mother and I have worked in the food industry. However the way they treated us was simply unacceptable. The wait time was unacceptable. The lack of cleanliness was unacceptable. And top it off I believe they gave us bad food as half way through eating my bagel (I ordered a hummus veg out) I noticed the tomato was way too soft as it squirted out everywhere and the spinach was dark green almost black and was extremely soft. (Unfortunately didn't think to take a picture.)

Read moreIf I could give a 0 star I would. That's how disappointed I am. We order breakfast all the time from here. Today we were charged extra for adding things to our sandwiches (which is normal). What was not was when we got home, none of our add ons were there (that we paid for) and there was no egg on any of our sandwiches even though we asked for 2. Ok. This happens. We call the store to inform the manager of the mistakes and overcharges made. Frustrated because we spent money on things we did not get. And the manager had the audacity to threaten to hang up onme, tell me he took our order and repeated it back so we got what we ordered. Then said he only took the order so it was not his fault it was messed up. I asked to speak to his supervisor to discuss his completely unprofessional behavior, during which time he took my information, blamed me some more and then hung up. I have not received a call back from the store supervisor. And needless to say, I will NEVER buy from here again. I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to be treated with respect and dignity when I bring a mistake to lught that was not my fault in the slightest....

Update* corporate offices resolved this issue for me, and promptly.
Update 2: honestly at this point, it's not even worth giving another shot. Corporate handled a previous issue, relatively swift. Decide why not? Let's give 'em another shot. Worse. Who is working here? Yeah, at this point they should all find other summer jobs. You people are making food for the public. Food! Have some respect. Literally the epitome of a hole in the wall food joint. I'd feel genuinely confident I'd receive a more put-together order at any McDonald's, even if the staff was blind! A genuine slap in the face. Thanks for the torn apart, undercooked, flat-as-a-pancake 'bagel'...
