Minus 1 star because the portion sizes are kind of small. Food: started with chips and salsa (free). Best salsa ever!!! Guacamole and fried chips were so yummy and would recommend as an appetizer. Fajitas were hot with a good variety of vegetables. Chef made a fresh crème sauce for one of our orders (even though it was not on the menu). Kids menu had plenty of options and was only $6. Good vegetarian options also. **This place is exactly what I want from my local Mexican restaurant.** Service: refilled drinks in a timely manner. Very nice guy serving us. Atmosphere: kind of an older establishment. Looked like traditional American- Mexican restaurant decor. Combo of cushioned booths and tables. Music was a reasonable volume (so we could actually talk without having to yell). Wahoo!! AC works well so everyone was a comfortable temperature.

Bottom Line: Worst Food I've Ever Paid For. I don't usually review restaurants but this is by far the worst food I have paid for in recent memory. It took a ridiculous amount of time, my tacos were burnt to a crisp with only tiny pieces of some odd pieces of burnt meat inside. Essentially I received a pile of burnt tortillas on top of random onions. Food that wasn't burnt had no flavor at all. Would absolutely never order from here again.

Decent food. Not super flavorful. Was fairly cheap. Waiter discounted my girls two for one margarita because she could only drink one. Menu says they charge for extra chips and salsa, which was disappointing. Not sure if they really do or that is for people just sitting around eating them all day. But we did not get more. We both ordered the dinner specials. My girl ordered cheese something and I ordered the enchiladas stacked.

There were five of us and everyone was either upcharged, got something they didn’t order, or both. Here is the list… -Three ordered items with green chili. The menu said it was included or you could upgrade to pork green chili for an additional $1.99. The server upcharged all of us without asking. —Birria tacos were served cold. Not even room temp. —Ordered chicken chimichanga. Got a bean and chicken burrito. —BE WARNED: Their guacamole and chips were listed as “market price.” Have you ever heard of that for chips and guac??? It was $15! That’s insane. —Beer ordered. Different one delivered. —Salt added to a “no salt” margarita. Most of these are small issues by themselves but they all added up to a totally unenjoyable meal. Especially when we waited about 45 minutes for the food after ordering. Admittedly, the food was decent but it doesn’t add up to how bad the overall meal was. And— it really upsets me when people overcharge you for something you didn’t ask for. That’s just...

I don't know how RICH, the people are who say the prices are good or cheap, but they're so misleading! $15 for a BEAN BURRITO to go? SO WRONG TONY!!! Claiming had to raise prices, understandable, but $15FOR BEANS AND A TORTILLA? So wrong, and if they're going to stand behind their choices, soon they'll be standing behind a counter at Taco Bell, working for someone else. Great way to ruin a family business. Food is good, if you can afford it, but a can of refried beans, a package of tortillas and some green chilies, don't cost $15 TOTAL! And with a little creativity, maybe taste better too! If this is the best Mexican food restaurant you've been in and the best Mexican food, you've had, KEEP LOOKING! There's better and cheaper all around Denver metro area. No need to be loyal to high prices and sub-par servings! YES, ONE STAR REVIEW! Because, during Covid, we the public helped this restaurant stay open, ok food, not great, owner...

This place looks a little shady on the outside, but it was recommend by the locals so we took a shot. They weren't very busy and the waiter and waitress were very attentive. The chips and salsa were free and the salsa is spicier than most places. We both ordered the green chili burrito and it was excellent. The green chili had plenty of pork and more heat than most of our normal places. My wife doesn't really go for spicy, she likes a more mild flavor, but she enjoyed it as well. The portions are huge. We probably could have split one burrito and been content. Other reviewers started the margaritas were outstanding, but I just didn't think so. While strong, they were overly salty, even with no salt on the glass. Maybe the bartender was having an off night. My recommendation, go for the food, skip the margaritas. Also, don't be fooled by the outside appearance. Go in and enjoy. You'll...
