This place has been around since the 50s. Originally, it began as a hangout for Coors employees. It's filled with awesome Coors memorabilia and old stuff you can't find anywhere else. The back yard is amazing, and is huge. The service is always friendly. They offer ski and snowboard tuning as well! Horseshoes are available in the spacious backyard if you want to get your game on. After the dreaded drive of I 70 I was just looking for a drink and some good company. Man, can I tell you what. I found not only the perfect place for a drink away from all the chaos of Denver, but a place to get my board tuned as well. The service was amazing, really love to see a family run business nestled in Golden. Everyone there was so pleasant and enjoyable. Drinks were a good price and service was fabulous. Had an asthma attack after biking that caused coughing. I knew what it was about but others don't so I wore a mask to keep one of my favorite bars safe. The bartender usually super nice to me did not give me the whiskey ginger I asked and paid for. She gave me watered down ginger ale and mean mugged me the entire time because I was the only one wearing a mask. It was a sad day today to be treated like that from what was one of my favorite bars.
