We decided to eat there tonight went there ordered our food and unfortunately as I was looking in the window none of the workers had their masks on they were all had the masks but it wasn't covering their nose their mouth and I'm talking these are the people that are making the fries the hamburgers and so very disappointed in that didn't even want to eat my food cuz I was so afraid that I might get sick. So I wasted 20 bucks there tonight.and per the state mandated rules and regulations for restaurants all employees who are prepping food need to wear their masks during this pandemic, I looked it up. I asked the lady at the window why no one was wearing their masks over there on their face and she said oh I don't know I'm not a cook but yet she wasn't wearing hers either until she opened the window. I really want to be able to support all of our local businesses but if they're not caring about us as customers then I don't know if I'm going to be able to eat out over there again and I've been eating there for years. This was about 6 pm. 12/4/2020

Dear Mr Vang, Although I do greatly appreciate your response back they were not 6 ft apart and their masks were on their chin sir unfortunately I know what I saw and what my husband saw as well. I do greatly appreciate you looking into the matter and I did look it up through the Colorado covid rules and restaurant regulations, if I could screenshot it and send it to you by all means I would do so. My thing is yes your cashier asked if I would like to speak to the manager and I declined yes because at that point I was already sickened at the fact that they weren't even wearing their masks the appropriate way. I have been still going out to support my local community and fortunately this is the first time that I've ever seen this happen especially in a restaurant or a food establishment. Looking at the three people that were in there within my vision through the drive thru and although I do greatly appreciate you sticking up for your employees, I know what I saw . I'm fully aware of what all of the rules and regulations are about staying 6 ft away from each other but when you're in a small establishment as yours you would think that your employees would want to stay safe as well. And I'm not trying to get anybody in trouble my whole thing is at least you address the situation, And your employees will abide by wearing their masks appropriately. and yes I'm sure if you went down there and you seen them with their masks on it's because I had said something when I was in...

This place used to be on the other side of town, but props to them for surviving in the new Palmer Park area. I used to work in a restaurant a couple hundred feet away that has changed businesses 5+ times in the last 8 years or so, so it's a rough spot for restaurants. The reason I say this is because despite the low rating (I consider anything averaged under 4 stars to be fairly low for Google rating standards), Short Stop has survived in a tough area so they must be doing something right.

This being said, I have come here for burgers a few times in my life. They are not my first choice, and I do think they are overpriced for what they provide but you should go here and judge for yourself.

I have bought the bag of burgers a few times back when it was around $20. At the current price, I would not recommend it to anybody. The burgers are really small, and I can eat more than the average person but I finished the entire thing in one sitting. I would guess the average person could eat two or three of the burgers & fries as one meal. I personally enjoy In-N-Out better than here, but as I said earlier try it for yourself if you've never been. This place has survived in a tough spot for a couple years already, so clearly they have an...

My mom and I visited Short Stop today 10/05/21. We ordered food and spoke with Ted the owner who made our previous situation right. More businesses need owners like Ted who reach out to their customers. Ted went above and beyond what we needed. Ted responded what felt like immediately to my concerns and was genuine in wanting to fix it. THANKS SO MUCH TED!! We love dining at Short Stop and will continue to be loyal customers 😌

We ordered food 09/25/21 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 sodas. Our burgers were pink and cold and the fries old. Now when the fries are crispy but chewy you know they refired and old. When the owner is there we never have problems but confused as ever because this is continuing and im sure the owner knows. The money spent is not worth the money spent. I hope the owner see's his reviews and gets back to his loyal customers. Been eating at short stop since I was a child. I'm 38 and ish has changed hella. Give me a job I love quality and a...

I usually liked their business until I just ordered #1 combo and 2 Bratwursts. I am deaf customer. Cashier tried to say something what I wanted. She didn't write down to communicate for me . I got plain brats in sub rolls. None added on it. I tried to eat. But it made me unwanted to eat and I trashed them. I ate hamburger and fries. Sweet tea drink was kind warm with ice cubes. I don't think I come back ever again. They need to communicate better with deaf customers. What a waste 20.62 dollars. Not same as before. I used love go short stop. Their taste were so great. But today bad time and hamburger was ok. Disappointed here. Short stop need to be supervise on workers to make it right by business good recipes as locked as promise.

I have never been to a short stop before and I’m not sure I’ll ever go again we got 2 number 3 double cheeseburger and I have to say I’ve had better burgers in a school cafeteria the meat is just terrible it’s like they used the cheapest frozen patties you can order on the market the burger was greasy and for a double burger it was tiny like a junior whataburger but worse. If the two meals were less than 30 dollars then I wouldn’t be disappointed but the fact that I paid 30 dollars for gas station quality burgers is beyond depressing. Maybe their hot dogs or their brauts are better but if you want a decent burger I’d suggest you steer clear away from short stop.
