El Rey "Express" Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Colton

Don't go big price change!! I went there the other day during my lunch break so I looked at the menu online so I could be Quick on ordering my food so I asked for the Queso birria taco it was 4.99 online at the place they charge 6.99 so I asked her if the two menus where the same she said yes so then I show her (so about this time she's giving me attitude for Questioning it ) and then she says it's a Monday special and no where on the two menus dose it say that .. so just not to make a bigger scene I ordered a quesadilla with birria for 11.88 witch the plate was decent. But tell me why out of 5 of us that got food there I was the only one with a Stomachache. I really don't know if they did put something in my food but 1 out of 5 and right after we gave each other attitude..just expressing my experience .. This place El Rey is connected to the Chevron gas station(which is very clean)deserves 6 out 5 star's. There is a amazing little lady cook/chef in the kitchen. This is a morning stop before work for me. At this point(within 2wks) I've only tried 3 things from the menu. The machaka/ bacon breakfast burritos and they were fresh, big and on point! Then I decided to stop by on my way home on a wkend to try the birria ramen and it was awesome! I highly recommend you stop by El Rey and try them out if you like fresh Mexican food....

I usually don’t give a review which I should more often but I just had to do this review. We were trying to figure out a place to go since a family member was at the hospital nearby and we googled this place. I have to say the carnitas tacos were very good, I also got mulitas. The mulitas were made by hand made tortillas, delicious. We also tried the shrimp and fish tacos and they were also great. The two girls that helped us were very nice and kind. Very cloran as well.
