La Veranda Mexican Cocina Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Colton

I loved this place. We went on Sunday with my husband for our anniversary and it was the best choice. I got beef fajitas that came with a side of rice, salad and beans (picture attached). Everything tasted freshly made and delicious. The meat was like made in Mexico (or any latin country). My plate was around $20 and it was completely worth it. I needed to take the leftovers home and I was able to eat lunch with it 😅 We also got some jarritos/cantaritos that were around $7 but they tasted GOOD, they have a good amount of tequila (you can taste it) but enough to feel it like a cocktail. It also came with orange, mango and a cherry in the drink that were also delicious to eat when done with the drink. The menu had a lot of different options for food, I was impressed because everytime I only see tacos and burritos on menus but they have a lot of different plates and also different meats (they even have fish/shrimps/etc)

The customer service was AWESOME, all the waiters were nice, friendly and really clean (their hair was on buns and their clothes looked clean without any loose hair on it)

I cannot be more satisfied. If you want to have a great dinner with good customer service, and on a good price, this is definitely your place.

Service was horrible!! Came in with a party of about 10 , waitress took forever to take our order I'd say we rang the table bell about 10 times with they obviously don't ignolage. Food took about 1 hour to come out and to top it off they lost half our order so we ended up canceling half our order because we didn't wanna wait any longer ...total inconvenience at a family birthday dinner :/.. we ordered a margarita with we had to get up and remind her to make with tastes like 🚮cheap tequila blended in ice... if I was solo I would have walked out and not Paid...the only positive thing is that the food was actually pretty good ..could have been hotter but it was enjoyable when it did finally come out. If u still decide to come to this establishment after reading this make a day trip out of it because u will be here...

The food is what I enjoy and unfortunately I was disappointed with some of the items we ordered. The Molcajete Supremo came with pork,chicken, longanisa some nopales & onions and topped with grilled cheese. The pork carnitas & chicken were extremely dry even with the sauce its hard to bring that meet to an edible state. The New York steak on the other hand was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Fajitas & cocktail were on the bland side without much seasoning so it just depends on what you are looking for. Some of the rest of guest were drinking more than eating so I don't know if the food was a priority. I gave them 2 stars because I expected more I've been to similar restaurants and it just didn't compare to the competition. Would I...
