This place has the best birriadongo tacos with the consume, and the customer service was amazing, my daughter got the carne asada quesodilla and it was amazing. My spell check isn't working, but you if you know then you know.🌮🥂🌯, so fresh and good, they know what they are doing. Try them. My new spot/// ORIGINALLY I GAVE A 5 STAR REVIEW BUT TODAY MY DAUGHTER WENT BACK AND THEY GOT THE ORDER WRONG WHEN SHE CALLED TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER MY DAUGHTER EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG AND LYDIA ASKED MY DAUGHTER WHAT DID SHE WANT HER TO DO ABOUT IT? AND MY DAUGHTER TOLD HER THAT SHE WANTED HER CORRECT ORDER ,THEN SHE TOLD HER THAT IS NOT WHAT SHE ORDERED AND SHE PROCEEDED TO ARGUE THAT SHE COULD DRIVE BACK AND TOLD SHE WOULD CHARGE HER THE DIFFERENCE FOR THE CORRECT FOOD, WE LIVE IN YUCAIPA BY THE WAY, SHE TOLD MY DAUGHTER WHAT DO YOU THINK WE ARE MCDONALDS OR SOMETHING? REALLY, AND I TOLD MY DAUGHTER NO SHE'S NOT DRIVING BACK FOR THAT TYPE OF TREATMENT, FOR HER TO SPIT IN OUR FOOD OR SOMETHING, I WOULDN'T TRUST THEM NOW. LYDIA WAS NOT HELPFUL NOR DID SHE TRY TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM IN A TACTFUL WAY, AND SHE REFUSED TO GIVE HER NAME, THAT'S NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE WHO PAID CASH FOR THEIR FOOD. WE DIDN'T ASK FOR ANYTHING FOR FREE IT WAS HER NASTY TONE AND ATTITUDE, I WAS UPSET, NOT MY DAUGHTER, SHE DIDN'T RAISE HER VOICE AT HER, I WAS FUSSING IN THE BACK GROUND LISTENING TO HER CONVERSATION AT HOW LYDIA WAS SPEAKING TO MY DAUGHTER, SO THAT'S WHY MY REVIEW WENT FROM 5 STARS TO ONE THANKS TO LYDIA, THAT THE NAME SHE GAVE ON 1-7-21 AT 6 PM SO IF THERE'S NO LYDIA WORKING THERE THEN CHECK WITH THE STAFF BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER CALLED IN HER ORDER. IT'S TO BAD BECAUSE I REALLY LOVED THE FOOD, BUT AT THIS POINT I'M PRETTY SURE WE WON'T PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. PLEASE TRAIN STAFF TO SPEAK WITH CUSTOMERS IN A BETTER MANNER, ESPECIALLY WHEN NO ONE IS BEING DISRESPECTFUL OR YELLING OR CUSSING OUT SOME ONE. MY DAUGHTER DID NONE OF THAT TO LYDIA. IT'S A SHAME BECAUSE THE FOOD...
Read moreA few days ago, I went to another taco place in Colton and said it had some of the best tacos I've ever had. Well today I went to Tacos Y Más and now this place is in the running. My wife, friend, and I ordered 9 quesatacos, a mulita, and the tatochos and everything was incredibly delicious. The meal was also only around $30 and we were super stuffed and satisfied. Here's what we ordered:
-Birria taco: This one was my favorite. The birria was really tasty and moist and this was actually the first time I've had birria. Birria is beef cooked in a stew. -Asada taco: The asada was also really tasty, unlike other asada street tacos that I've had. I wouldn't mind going back and ordering just birria and asada tacos. -Al Pastor taco: Al Pastor is usually my favorite meat in a taco, but the birria and asada were slightly better in my opinion. But it was still a good taco. -Carnitas taco: The carnitas was slightly dry and so this was my least favorite taco, but it was still delicious. -Mulita with asada: A mulita is like a small quesadilla. It was good and had more cheese than the quesatacos so I think it's worth it to pay a little more if you want more cheese. -Tatochos: It has asada, chorizo, bacon, and nacho cheese on tater tots. It's like their version of carne asada fries. It was good but it didn't come with guacamole or sour cream, and I feel like it really needed those flavors.
For parking, there's a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant.
Also, when I came around 7pm on a Tuesday, they only had one chef working in the entire kitchen. I think they're going to need more chefs as this place gets busier with...
Read moreSo this was actually my first time trying the food here. So here is what we ordered and our opinion for each.
Perro Callejero: The bun was dry with some hard spots but the flavor was good.
Birriongo: Nothing special about it. It did have a strong clove flavor though.
Chile Relleno Taco: Nothing about it wowed us. It was just carne asada with a piece of pasilla chile, cheese and a couple of slices of avocado on top.
Gringa: We were expecting more of this one but it was just very greasy Al Pastor carne with a slice of pineapple inside.
El Guero Panzon: Everything about it was just so dry and flavorless. The chicken kind of seamed like it had been sitting there for awhile, the bacon and mushrooms were ok.
Mulita de Asada: This one was our favorite out of everything. Again the asada had alot of flavor, it came with cilantro, onion and avocado salsa. It was really good!
All the tacos came with the tortilla really toasted. We didn't mind it but it was definitely something different for us.
The salsa bar was nice and clean and very well stocked. Their salsas are very flavorful we loved the red tomatillo salsa!
We will be going back again but i'll stick to the regular asada tacos. Hands down best flavorful asada we've had in awhile! There isn't really anything special about their Tacos Especiales. To us they weren't...
