Taco Bell — Restaurant in Columbia Township

WARNING: EXTREMELY ABUSIVE- AGGRESSIVE MANAGER 4:45 Brooklyn, Mi. Sat. Oct 4th., who came out into the parking lot to threatening me, SO I CALLED THE POLICE! SHE'S EXTREMELY MEAN to the Employees AND COMBATIVE AGGRESSIVE to your Customers!! I ordered 4 drinks & asked for a carrier durning the special discount hours of $1.00 per drink. The outdoor screen showed one drink for $2.?? So I explained that was wrong because the price change doesn't happen until 5 and I ordered 4 drinks. ● The very MAD GIRL MANAGER CAME ON OVER the speaker YELLING at me that it was a new person and she's under training!!! 😒 Ah...ok... I did not know that, and what did that have to do with anything? I did not raise my voice previously or responded with anger, so why was the Manager so angry??? ● I pulled up to the window, and I could see the angry look on the managers' face..looked like she was scolding the little (and very young) new girl. It didn't set well with me as I know your 1st job can be difficult and strange, but I thought maybe the Manager was having a bad day too because if it. (¿) The new Employee, young girls' chin was just quivering as she handed me one drink through the window and she had big tears in her eyes that she was fighting not to let the mean Manager see! ● As I reached for the drink, I said to the New Employee in a low voice so 'meanie'...

It's totally self-serve ordering on a kiosk or app. If you pay in cash, you need to wait patiently at the register for someone to show up.

The kiosk makes you select what type of drink you want as well as a number of sauces desired to finish the order. An associate hands you your cups to full on your own, and you are responsible for retrieving your needed napkins and sauce.

After 4 minutes, an associate came out and asked us if we paid for our order. We said yes and had to show her our receipt. She admitted that she never even looked at what was in the queue and asked us how many drinks we ordered and gave us our cups.

The food took 10 minutes to be made from when paid for it, but they both were great. We took advantage of their box meal specials.

Note that when they called the name on the order, plopping it on the counter, no interaction with us was made; a thank you would have been nice.

We ate inside and half way through, we were ready to go as we were tired of the ridiculous banter of all the associates behind the counter; complaining about an associate, talk about not punching out the night before, personal details about what they did the previous night, wondering where someone was as it was 2 minutes past their...

Ordered from them twice. I think they are still getting their systems in place because both times service was incredibly slow. Staff was very nice and friendly, though. But this place is akin to sitting in a busy restaurant slow - this is not *fast food. Nor is it inexpensive. $11 for a drink and burrito. !!!

Useful advice: Don't be in a rush and check your food orders before you leave, and what you've been charged. I ordered close to $40 worth of food and items were missing.

Because the structure of this taco bell is terrible, parking runs alongside the path of where the long drive through line is.

Go and park in the Big Boy parking lot next door and inspect your bag of food. You can then walk across and go inside TB to get order fixed. People in drive through line will NOT let you park in the TB parking area after leaving drive through.
