Aside from the food, which I can't rate because it was never served to me, there is no reason for me to ever return to the Crafty Crab. It was my first and only experience, although the people I was with had been before, loved it, and were shocked at how bad this trip was for them. For starters, one of the three of us got their food (some of it) after about 15-20 minutes. They ordered steamed while the other two of us got fried foods. We were told our food would be out soon as it took longer. I have never seen fried foods take longer than other foods so I assume the steamed items are pre made. After another 20 or so minutes we asked the server when the food would be out. We were told she didn't know and that they were working on it. We asked her to check with the kitchen and received a look as if we had asked the impossible. She went though and after a few minutes returned saying only that "It's coming." The first person finished their food that they had received and we questioned about just getting the bill and going elsewhere as we were now approaching an hour since we had arrived. She caught the waitress to let her know she was done with her plates and received a finger back, signalling just one moment, without a word. We finally managed to flag the waitress down again after a few and said we'd like the check and she proceeded to ask if my soda was on the same tab as the person who got part of their food. We asked for the Manager if she intended to charge for the soda despite never serving all of the food after an hour. She may have been asking if we intended to pay for our food though. That part wasn't clear. She spoke to the Manager who proceeded to walk away before finally coming to the table after another few minutes. The right thing was done in this case by discounting a portion of the meal served and not charging for the other two meals or the one soda that had three sips out of it. We were told there were problems in the kitchen and that they were sorry. I am not sure why this couldn't have been conveyed during the hour we waited or when we ordered. The waitress could not be bothered to provide more than "it's coming" and was honestly bothered that we asked for a status on our food. I hear the food was good though. They did make the situation right. The service leading up to it though needs drastic improvement. Aside from taking the order and bringing the food/drinks, we never saw the waitress again unless we flagged her down. Read moreTonight was terrible from the moment my waiter “Mojo” came over. I always order the same thing each time crawfish special with lemon pepper and garlic butter sauce mild. Strike one my order comes out for me and my daughter, instead of bringing another plate he tells me I can use the other metal pan that has my utensils on it and crab crackers that others have touched. I said excuse me .. bring me a plate. So he did and I asked for lemon. As I’m looking at the sauce I see it’s a dark red and when I tasted it I know he ordered boom sauce versus what I specifically asked for !! I’m annoyed but I let it slide , the food quality already taste like trash, eggs were pre cooked then I bite into my potato which both were under cooked. I told him and he then asked me to take them out to exchange them or I’ll be charged for new ones. So he brings the new potatoes out , still no lemons. I’m extremely annoyed at this point he asked everyone else if they need something but purposely slips me and my daughter and I even caught him gossiping to his co workers about me. So now I’m ready to go, he brings my ticket in no book or anything my daughter had to ask can she have the lemons please! I look at the receipt clear as day “boom sauce” smh I didn’t order that at all!!!!! So he comes back with the lemons , I had to ask for a bag to go , he didn’t offer which is the first time I’ve ever experienced that ! So because of his service and the quality of the food the tip was zero!!!! As we are leaving he collected my receipt and threw it in the garbage. I asked him why did he do that , because I know the merchant copy is for accounting purposes, he says because I didn’t tip , that’s why he did it. I proceeded to explain why he didn’t deserve a tip at all ! The nerve!!!! I’ve been coming to the place since it opened always a great tipper and it’s truly going down hill and tonight’s customer service from “Mojo” skinny dude with dread was the worst !!! Read morePlace a door dash order and my dasher caught a flat before delivery so I call door dash and the store to let them know I'm coming to pick up order. Was told order ready sitting here just come in with proof of my order and so I proceed into store. Get here and my order is no longer in sight showed proof that it was my order and all. Mine you employees is sitting at a table playing with his phone! He tells me I canceled my order I tell him no spoke with door dash and told them I was coming to retrieve my order. He gets Manager on duty and he says we don't just give away free food. Didn't even give me a chance to speak or address the issue. I spent 122 for this order for the manager to look at me and say we don't give away food. The embarrassment that your manager would speak to me like that and try to refuse to call door dash and straighten out the confusion. I shop here often but with a manager who sits at the bar doing nothing to refuse to solve customer issue will make me rethink spending my money here. And as a person who didn't ask for anything free I paid a 2nd time and had to wait for my order while the manager gave me attitude and treated me as if I came in to the store begging for and order I had already paid for. Worst manager ever!!! Pass the manager Zion the young lady at the counter was very respectful and her customer service in regards to complaint and issue was superb.
