If we could rate zero stars, we would. Google only allows a minimum of 1 star. Pizza was burnt to a crisp. If we wanted croutons as a crust, we would have been happy with what was received. Had the pizza forcefully remade after the cooks insisted that the pizza was not burnt. The remake came without onions in which we had to request the onions on the side. In the picture below the onions were as black as olives. Clearly, they were burnt and charred. Left the restaurant completely disappointed and called the restaurant in hopes of speaking to a manager personally over the phone who would attempt to apologize for what had transpired as we did not want a scene to occur in store. Spoke to the manager (Dan) who was the most unpleasant and unprofessional human being we have ever spoken to. It’s worth to mention, we were hung up on when we initially asked for a manager. We called back and were unfortunately graced with Dan’s condensing and demeaning tone. Dan then insisted that we seek business elsewhere. We were then falsely accused of asking the owner if he was high in which he then aggressively disconnected the call. Seems to be a trend with race as one star reviews that the owner has responded to are people of color. If this is what Dan has to offer, then we recommend that folks not support his restaurant. EDIT: Responding ONLY to refute the untruths that the company expectantly has written. 1. Why would I not post a picture of the burnt pizza your restaurant was prepared to send us home with? Are there not Quality Control measures in place? The fact is your management was satisfied with providing a customer with an overcooked pizza and stated that the pizza was not overcooked after multiple attempts requesting for the pizza to be remade (as stated and expressed above). 2. The team expressed that the pizza was not overcooked or burnt which was the initial problem. Even you, expressed that all pizzas are cooked at the same temp and time daily. So one should wonder, why the inconsistency and pushback to remake the pizza correctly? 3. My Mother was NOT a satisfied customer. You are not her, so respectfully, do not speak on her behalf. Once my mother made it to her vehicle, your restaurant then received a phone call. This was to ensure our food was not tampered with. Shall we compare your camera footage to phone call timestamps? So, the narrative of “after some time has passed” again is incorrect. 4. “Seems to be a trend with race” and calling you a racist are two different items. It appears that my hypothesis was indeed correct as you responded to a one star review from a person of color. 5. Finally, you do NOT fix issues. A manager should be respectful, polite, and try to find a solution. Not once did we request a refund. All that was requested and expected was to take accountability for being combative, unprofessional, and rude human beings. You could’ve even offered that we bring all merchandise back to the store for a full refund. Instead, we were asked to seek business elsewhere and were hung up on. Have a blessed day as we will definitely take you up on the offer given.

Great atmosphere, kid friendly, great pizza, waitress was spunky and really nice. Only drawback - the windows in the bar room have a flimsy covering over them but the sun was killer and right on us so we were sweating and almost had to wear sunglasses while eating - and fans above us were off! Can't do that when Temps are almost 100° outside and the windows bake people sitting near them. 😐 But other than the sun, the food, beer and service was great! Kids ordered Sprites to drink and were given giant glasses (a bit much but saved on refills I suppose lol) and a large cheese pizza. It was deliciously cheesy and came out piping hot! Husband and I ordered medium Meat Lovers which was phenomenal. Huge slices, NY style. We took few slices home as leftovers. We had mozzarella sticks as appetizer, but 5 sticks between 4 hungry people, they didn't sit long enough for a picture. They were pretty good (except for the one all the cheese came out of all over the other sticks so it was basically a bread shell lol, whatever we ate it). Shock Top Belgium White draft beer - Husband had and it was good. Frothy Beard Strawberry Blonde Ale - I had and it was so fruity and fabulous! We will definitely be back but maybe after sundown. ;)

First time ever trying this establishment. We waited for a good 5 minutes before we decided that we had to enter to side entrance for on-site dining instead of take out. We were seated quickly and waited on pretty quick as well. I ordered the philly cheesesteak sub with fries, while the other half got a Hawaiian pizza. The food arrived after about a 15-minute wait. Overall, the food was average at best. The sub was slightly bland and could have used more seasoning. The fries were actually potato wedges that would not have been ordered if I knew this ahead of time. The pizza was not anything to brag about either. The cheese was really the only thing that could be tasted minus the pineapple pieces, which were slightly overpowering. The chicken and the sauce were just not hitting at all. The waitress was very nice, but not around much at all. It was slightly busy, and after observing, it looked as if the tables everyone was serving were all spread about. This was an average at best experience, food wise, and I would not be excited to return.

I am sorry I ever gave this place 5 stars. They have moved down the street, and must have left the flavor with them. The Bar is twice the size of the dining room, which goes to show that they are more interested in their bar business than the restaurant half of it.

I visited 12/15/13, I got the Spaghetti and Meat Balls. I waited over 20 minutes to be served, The waitress checked on me at most 4 times my entire visit. Including the one that she came by to tell me that there was an issue with their ticketing system. Did she offer me an appetizer? Did she offer to discount of comp my meal, no to either of these things.

Yet, that malfunctioning ticketing system, didn't seem to stop the others in the restaurant from getting their food delivered to them in a timely manner. The Red Headed Waitress, that served the other side of the room was a gem, and should be given 10 stars, she delivered her food in a timely manner, checked on her guests, and DID HER JOB!

Kristen, my waitress, was far more concerned with the party of eight that was sitting in front of me. She waited on them like they were her long lost family. I guess she assumed that they would leave her a massive tip and that the one single customer wouldn't. I didn't leave her a tip at all after the way I was ignored.

When my food arrived, it was served with two pieces of garlic bread, one of which was lightly burnt black! There were no spices on the tomato paste, no basil, no oregano, no rosemary, no nothing, just simply two golf ball size meatballs and bland tomato paste, and even more bland spaghetti.I had to coat the thing in parmigiano cheese, just to get it down.

My table was attached to the wall, with no adjustment what so ever, not a fat friendly establishment. Which is odd since, this is a restaurant and 2/3'rds of America is over weight. Not everyone is a rail thin college student with a high metabolism.

After my visit, I expressed my displeasure to the owner, who gave me a $20.00 Gift certificate. I thanked him and left.

This restaurant bills its self as New York Style pizza, I had a friend who was born and raised in New York visit me the next night 12/16/13. I figured ok, I have a gift cert and I need to feed them, what better thing that New York Pizza. I got the special pizza, and brought the pizza home.

My friend ate it and then looked at me and said "That's not New York Pizza, that is an insult to New York Pizza! There was no flavor and the cheese was an obscenity" I will not darken your...

I heard wonderful reviews about this local establishment and I was excited to try their food items. I heard that the pizza was the best in town and I was excited about the possibility of finding a new local place to enjoy pizza but I was saddened to never receive the opportunity. My colleagues and I had a distasteful customer service experience shortly after being seated. Our waiter was rude and condescending and was making rude remarks before he even formally introduced himself. We hesitantly continued with our drink orders. We inquired about the lunch specials and the waiter continued to make negative remarks and had the audacity to sit lazily in the booth opposite of ours as though he did not want to take our orders, to the point where another member of the wait staff inquired about his actions and our waiter replied, "I'm just waiting on these people to figure out what they want to eat." We didn't respond but I think our waiter finally understood the severity of his remarks when other tables started to make remarks about his behaviors and he was able to see the shift in our body language. At this point we didn't want to continue to eat at an establishment where we have been treated so poorly. We didn't have a conversation with the waiter because we wanted to avoid a possible negative encounter and we didn't want to ruin the dining experience of others in the vicinity. I asked to speak to my manager on the way exiting the restaurant so that we could pay for our drink orders and to discuss our experience. The manager was kind and professional but seemed to be familiar with the waiters behaviors before we provided a detailed description suggesting he had a corky personality and at times "he rubs people the wrong way." His behavior was unacceptable and I hope your establishment will be more mindful about the people you have representing your brand. I was disappointed that we did not get an opportunity to enjoy our lunch and I sadly don't feel as though I can recommend your establishment to others because I had such a negative customer service experience. I hope this review can be utilized as a learning tool to properly train and select staff members so that no one else shares in the same negative...
