Handel's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Columbia

The icecream is great. 10/10 KeyLime Pie and Coconut Cream Icecream waffle cone was so good. The only reason why I'm giving a 3 is because of the experience we had tonight. It was our first time coming to this place, so I asked the young guy at the register how many scoops came in each size cone. He began to kindly explain when a young lady came quickly from the back (pink hair with glasses) and rudely yelled at him and began to cut him off verbally. I was kind of shocked at how she treated him and the huge attitude she had in front of customers. I began to ask her the same questions, where she began explaining (giving me the same info the guy gave me), but with a huge attitude. I ordered a medium waffle cone and I asked for 3 flavors. She said very rudely I could only have 2. That was fine. The guy looked so defeated. I felt so bad for him. She made me uncomfortable with her attitude. It was around 7:30 tonight. My husband and I conversed and said everything was perfect, but she was so so mean to her coworker and rude to us. While she was taking my order, I took a while to look at the menu (huge menu) and she kept sighing and tapping her fingers on the counter. A bright sign that stuck out from the dusk landscape as the sun set. It's beckoning glow invoked the neons of old and felt like someone should come out to you on roller blades. (Noone did). Inside, the store is to the point. Ice cream is a business here and business is served cold. No frills, no cutesy pictures. Just a plain menu with plain words. There was no seating, kinda weird. I ordered the small in a waffle cone and as is tradition in ice cream shoppes, the small was a towering sculpture that I could never hope to finish before it melts (but I did). I got a milk chocolate ice cream filled (and I mean filled) with gooey gobs of uncooked brownie and thick slabs of peanut butter which again begged the question in the cobwebby corners of my mind 'how much is a serving of peanut butter?'. It was creamy, it was soft. It was rich and it was...

Went in and got a medium 2 flavor cup. I got black cherry, which had a good texture and flavor. I also got cotton candy, which at first had a good taste, but then I bit into something crunchy! It was a chocolate chip! WHO PUTS CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN COTTON CANDY ICE CREAM?! It really put me off. And it was LOADED with them! So much so that it totally removed any cotton candy flavor from the ice cream! Kind of a letdown on that because cotton candy is my favorite flavor. The service was fine, I was the only one in there. The atmosphere was very sterile and bright. Like a doctor's exam room. I'm still going to come back though because it's ice cream, and there are at least 30 other...
