yesterday me and my boyfriend always walk harbison for the last 12-13 years for birthdays or ect. we always stop at this location to look around but we both donât drive so we carry are stuff with us. my boyfriend has a learning disability so sometimes he doesnât understand or get upset when you yell at him. when he gets stressed out. so i had already went in the store shortly after he comes in. and he said he was told that we had to leave stuff up front. but i wasnât told anything l had already started shopping wheni notice he wasnât in the store. i went straight up front an asked the person what happened to him. i told her that he was disabled and that he couldnât not be outside without him notifying me. she didnât understand that i am responsible for him if he had a breakdown or something. because he does take medication cause nosebleeds. i understand how lost proventin works and stuff. because i work at fort jackson. so i know better. who ever the lady was i donât know if she was the manager or whatever they need a better policy or something upfront stating the issue instead of safety of customer. because it was embarrassing for him and he was extremely uncomfortable and upset about the situation. he doesnât want to come back to the location. due to her not ask dor his parents o spouse when being delt with him. because this could happen to someone else and thry want be so...
Read moreI went to Michaels today to pick up items I ordered online two days ago. I was by an associate in the custom framing section of the store. This young man has exceptional customer service. He didn't tell me I was in the wrong department and then direct me where to go. He called the correct department informing them of my order and them escorted me to the correct place! When I informed him of my reason for being in this area, he looked at the email I received. Again, instead of telling me that I was in the wrong department and direct me where I should go, he ESCORTED me, via wheelchair, to the correct area. Before this was done, he called the correct department and informed the associate of my order. When I arrived at the correct area, there were only 2 customers ahead of me. I waited at least 20 minutes before I was not only acknowledge, but also assisted me. There were 2 associated in this department/area. One associate was assisting the customer ahead of me. After waiting for some time, I moved close so that I could be seen. Still no response from the associate who was clearly able to see me. I'm not sure if she thought that maybe the customer and I were together as we were of the same ethnicity, but an acknowledgment, even if you are busy, would have been appreciated. It was not until another associate came to the department that I was helped. In my opinion, this was poor...
Read moreVery suspicious issues involving a same day delivery. I had a duplicate order and needed to cancel one, so i called and the duplicate was cancelled. As soon as i got off the phone i had an email and refund notice for only the order I wanted to cancel. So, when at the end of the day the order that was supposed to come had not, I called in to Marshall's. I was told that the other order had also been cancelled and thats why it hadn't been delivered. I said, if that's the case, than why have I not gotten an email of that one being cancelled, but I had with the duplicate almost immediately. They said it had been cancelled later, after the first one, and that i just hadnt gotten the email yet. I asked why would it have been canceled after? I informed them that I had credit on my account for the first order, but had neither email nor credit back for the second, which had supposedly been cancelled hours prior. They could offer me no explanation, and I was told to call back if it didn't appear in my account in a couple hours. As soon as I got off the phone, I had recieved an email for the cancellation of the second order. It was fishy and honestly I did not believe the associates and the manager with whom I spoke were being honest about the circumstances surrounding my order, and how it came to be that I...
