McDonald's — Restaurant in Columbia

Used to be a decent McDonald's but over the past six months or so it's gone down as far as service goes. When they brought in the new McCafe drinks (espresso, macchiatos, etc...) and the buttermilk chicken. This seemed great however your lucky if they have the chicken at all. They keep a paper sign on the menu saying they are out. And the espresso machine, well it's either being cleaned or broken all the time. My husband stops in every morning, waits in the drive thru line for twenty plus minutes, and has yet to get a macchiato this week. Then tonight. I figured I'll try again, they took my order and my money, then I wait and wait and wait at the pick up window. Finally some girl says did you have the coffee drink? "yeah", I say. She says oh I'm sorry the machine is broke in a thank you come again tone, and then just stands there waiting for me to leave. I said you realize I paid almost $4 dollars for that right? She's like oh hold on, it was just a disaster, I had to tell her how to do her job and then she had to keep asking the manger if it was OK to give me my money back or something else. The final outcome was part of my money and another drink a different girl handed it to me and I started to say they needed to take it off the menu in the drive thru so people don't order it and pay for it but she slammed the window in my face at the word "off" , great service! McDonald's had been a starter job for just about everyone in my family. We love the place no matter what town it's in, but this one needs restaffed with managers that would never let am employee treat a customer as I was. I'll be calling corporate in...

Drove thru for breakfast as I normally do a few times a week. Ordered my favorite, steak egg and cheese bagel. Left and drove to a shady area to eat. Unwrapped my sandwich to find bacon not steak. Drove back got in line again ( I have one leg not working and try staying off of it as much as possible ) told the girl I got the wrong sandwich and she changed it. Got back to my shady spot, opened my sandwich again and this time it was steak but so over cooked it looked like a hockey puck. Went back again and this time I went in and politely explained that the sandwich was inedible. I waited a while and they brought me another, and said here it is hot off the grill. So went back to my spot, opened the sandwich ( which I should have done before I left ) and it was even worse than the one before. This time I had to go in because I just wanted a refund and go somewhere else. I was still very polite and said I'm sorry but I can't eat this, it's over cooked to the point it's like a rock. She says this is the third time you brought it back. Yes, but the first time it was wrong the second and third were ruined. And she replies, well we can't help it, cause that's the way they come off the grill. Well here is a hint, lady with the attitude, maybe take them OFF the grill before they become hockey pucks. If I could give no stars I would. Went in to eat and ordered from one of the kiosks. Plainly chose "Eat In", took a number, put it in, sat and waited. A few minutes later they called out a number that was ready which I did not know was ours because our receipt printed out blank. Went up to the counter, my food was thrown together in a bag instead of put on a tray and left there for just anyone to grab. My husband's double big Mac had burnt hamburger patties on it and both our sandwiches were cold. The store was completely nasty and dirty inside. Not a single clean table, ketchup all over the floor, no napkins by the fountain drink machine which a manager had just walked out and seen herself but I still had to ask for some, the ketchup out of the dispenser was almost like water, I could go on. Needless to say I will be making a phone call to corporate tomorrow morning and will not be back in COLUMBIA KY MCDONALDS!!!
