The food here was absolutely amazing. My wife ordered the hibachi salmon with fried rice. I ordered hibachi chicken with fried rice. Both were served with grilled vegetables and all of it was cooked to perfection directly in front of us. Prior to our main course, we were served Japanese soup and salad, which were both very tasty. The hibachi chef was top-notch and very experienced at his trade. He was also comical and interacted extremely well with the children of the family that was seated with us. The food portions were very plentiful, and we departed with leftovers. Everyone at that grill left the steakhouse happy and well-fed. Our only complaint was that our drinks ran dry and our waiter (not the hibachi chef) mever returned to give us refills. There was a water pitcher close by, and I took the liberty of refilling mine and my wife's cups (no big deal). The restaurant was very busy that night, so it was probably a fluke. We will definitely return in the future to try different menu options, and I recommend that you give this place a try as well. Sadly, I only took one photo while we were there, and it doesn't represent the atmosphere very well at all. It does give you an idea of how the grills are set up. I'll try to do better on...
Read moreCheck your bill before you leave!! There were 4 of us in our group and they tried to charge us the 18% gratuity. It is only added for parties of 5 or more. Mind you, I always tip extremely well if the service is good. Sadly it was not last night. The "chef" did absolutely nothing for entertainment, all he did was cook our food. The other chefs however were putting on the show you pay for when eating hibachi. Then to top it off, the "chef" after cooking the filet that I and other customers we were sat with ordered, he gave the family seated with us their steak, but didn't give me any. Accidents happen I definitely understand that!! However, when my filet came out it was so so small, I got 6 pieces of steak after it was cut. I was NOT impressed with this place at all. I found a place in spring hill called Asuka. That place is fantastic. We will be going there from now on. We figured we would give it a try since the reopening. We...
Read moreCame here with my bf to try out a new restaurant since we love Japanese steakhouses. The service was great! It was 2 hours before closed and it seemed understaffed as there was one server and one bartender. The atmosphere was strange, weird decorations that didn’t fit the vibe. But the food was an absolute disappointment. To start the ramen broth was supposed to be pork but it tasted like water, no flavor or seasoning. I also ordered the teriyaki chicken and it looked like the chicken was pre-cooked plain, again with no seasoning, and they just drizzled teriyaki sauce on top. We also ordered some rolls and salads that were overly dressed. The only thing we ended up taking home with us was the fried rice, which I will say was the best part of the entire meal. Really had high hopes...
