Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe — Restaurant in Columbia

This is a better version than Subway. It does cost a bit more but the old statement is very much true, to pay for quality. The sandwich was very good, and they offer a different brand of chips other than Frito-Lay. It is a kettle-cooked chip of a nice variety. Even though it is a different brand and it's not a cheap flavor, the chip brand offers a few of their own flavors with typical everyday flavors as well. The drink selection is really nice, the offer bottled drinks as well as a Coca-Cola multi flavor soda fountain. They do not offer too much of a spicy flavor oh, but I am a little biased, I enjoy eating ghost peppers. Their Decor is very comfortable even though they use a lot of dark browns and tans it's still a very comfortable setting. Usually the food is quick and delicious, but watch out if there is a problem with your order. We placed an order and picked it up on our way home; this Pickleman's is not our usual location, and we do not live in their delivery area. When we arrived home, we found that they had given us the wrong salad. A quick phone call and the manager agreed to have the correct salad made and delivered to our home. An hour later... no salad. I called and spoke to the manager, who said that we were outside their delivery area and so they could not deliver the salad. She knew our address when she confirmed it during our phone call; she should have known it was outside her delivery area then. She said that someone should have called us, but my phone had no missed calls. The best she could do was remove the salad from our order. This place has gone down hill. I don't recommend a delivery because most likely, it will be wrong every time. Two separate deliveries that have been made resulted in missing items, cold soup, and a delivery that was 25 minutes late. I had even called and spoken to someone about the late delivery when 10 minutes had gone past the delivery time, who had reassured me that the driver should arrive any time. He could have mentioned that the driver could be somewhat late because of the restaurant getting slammed all-of-a-sudden, but he didn't. Fifteen minutes later my food arrives, and yet again, missing an item. I called the store who gave me excuses and offered to bring another order and my missing item, so that's why they received two stars and not one from me.
