Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Columbia

Upon arrival, the doors were locked and no one was with sight but I figured they were in the bathroom. A guy came from the back, opened the door, stated he was by himself and to place the order via drive-thru, even though I saw a girl inside the store with him. The drive- thru line had about 3 cars ahead of me, so I called to place my order over the phone. My order was complete at 12:18pm, I was advised my food would be finished by 12:33. I left to run an errand and returned at 12:43. I pulled up to the drive-thru window, where I waited for a few mins for the girl to come answer the window. She then asked my name and my order. Then, closed the window as if she was going to get my food. I waited until about 12:50pm, so I went inside to see what the delay was. The girl asked the guy if my order was ready and called out my order. He said it was coming out of the oven. The guy then came to the front asked for my order, I told him my order was placed over the phone for a personal pan pizza. He then told me he would have to put my order back in. I said why, it’s not ready. He replied no, so I said don’t worry about it and walked out. This isn’t the first time this has happen at this same Pizza Hut upon picking up pizza. I was late returning to work from lunch because I had to go somewhere else to get something to eat because they couldn’t have a personal pan ready with that 45 mins even though when I called corp back they said my order was ready which was NOT CORRECT. Rotten pineapple. We ordered about an hour before they close on DoorDash. Got two pizzas, a pasta and some breadsticks. The second we took a bite we both instantly taste fermentation. The pizza was covered in rotten pineapple. We decide to try the pasta, only to see it’s covered in a mountain of some random seasoning that I don’t even think comes on this pasta or ate last not that much of it anyway, breadsticks were undercooked and still had dough on top I’m surprised the cheese melted. By that point it was 10:40, 20 minutes before they close so I decide let me call and tell them that they might have gotten a whole bunch of people sick today. I call 6 times because each time I got hung up on. I understand you’re closing, but I used to work at a pizza place. They need to make sure they check the dates, and check to see if the make line is still on. Along with do not put things away or leave things out of the refrigerated areas just because you don’t think you’re gonna have a last minute order. My girlfriend and I received the Big Dinner Box with Pasta. We usually get this every so often and we've never had an issue until today. I took a bite and immediately retched, the pineapples were rancid! The pasta was doused in a mound of seasoning so thick you couldnt see the pasta in some parts. Tried calling the store, only at first to inform them and ask for some sort of resolution, but we never got in contact with them! Just put us on hold and hung up on us multiple times. Very frustrating experience to say the least, luckily i ordered through doordash and it was resolved through them. Your experience may be different than mine, but don't order anything that can't stay out too long. I can't be too mad either - it's a Pizza Hut.
