Taziki's really does deserve 10 stars. OMG they have some of the most amazing Mediterranean/Greek food evAH. I eat here, sometimes, twice a week, since my job is nearby. Normally, I order the salmon or shrimp feast, which comes with two sides. So, I'll get the rice, which is sensationally zesty, and their Greek Salad...YUMMY. They also have some yummy red potatoes and grilled vegetables. They cook the food to order, so while I'm waiting, most I'll grab a slice of their delicious Baklava...the only complaint about the Baklava is, it's small, but hey, maybe they are looking out for their customers' weight. 😋 Their fresh pimento cheese and crispy pita bread is absolutely delicious, too. Nothing tastes bad at Taziki's, and their dining room always has patrons, especially during lunch - the lines can get long, but worth the wait. Speaking of wait, considering it's a cook to order restaurant, you'll get your food within about 15 minutes. Taziki's serves sizable portions - you won't leave hungry and may need a doggy bag. And if you're lucky enough to meet the nice manager, Matt, you'll definitely have an even better Taziki's experience, because he (his staffers too), take the time to walk around and ask the patrons if everything with the order is okay or if they need anything. Taziki's is a great restaurant, but don't take my word...go check them out for yourselves.

I cannot say enough good things about this place it is one of a few reasons we ever come to Columbia and it is the only place we eat...By far our favorite place to eat...no matter what we are in Columbia for, shopping, zoo trip, business, we always stop here for a bite to eat and we even take back (we live in Sumter) their orgasm inducing Taziki dip....at least 4 orders....fresh, healthy, great tasting, hands down one our favprote places to eat and we pig out (it is that good) staff is very friendly and always goes that extra step (only wish they'd bring back the medallion cut lamb instead of the shredded stuff)

We had a wonderful lunch at Taziki’s! I ordered the grilled veggie pita with cucumber and tomato salad, along with chips on the side. The veggies in the pita were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had the grilled chicken breast platter, which came with roasted potatoes and a salad. Everything was great. The service was excellent, definitely a 5/5, and the staff was quick. The vibe of the restaurant was great—relaxed and inviting. The location is convenient too, making it a perfect spot for a casual yet satisfying meal.Highly recommend this place for anyone craving tasty Mediterranean food.

This will be my first and last time ever coming to this place. We walked in and ordered our food to go. We have been waiting for a good while (maybe about 20 mins), which is fine because it was busy. Another 10-15 minutes pass and now we are getting concerned with where our food is because people who are coming in and ordering after us are getting their food before us. We go up to ask the cashier and she told us someone else took our food, that they would remake our food, give us a free dessert, all that jazz. About another 15-20 minutes pass, we still don't have our food and again, everyone who came in after us got their food before us. Mind you, all the workers not once asked what we were waiting on, why were we there so long, or if we have even been helped. Upset at this point, we go and ask the cashier for our money back because it's poor customer service and is not even worth waiting almost an hour for. The cashier goes and gets defensive basically implying that we opted to wait, so we have no reason to be upset. The cook working in the back starts complaining how he had to cook our meal, that we paid for, a second time as if it was our fault they gave our food away. Excuse me, if you have messed up and gave our food away the first time after making us wait 30 minutes, and then proceed to make us wait longer by not prioritizing our order, how do you have the right to be upset? I will not be coming here, and I warn those of you who do to be weary of their...

Mixed Feelings on This Mediterranean Spot

My visit to this Mediterranean restaurant left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the establishment was notably clean and boasted commendable service. The staff were attentive and the ambiance was pleasant, which added to the overall dining experience. These aspects are definitely worth acknowledging and contributed positively to my visit.

However, the core of any restaurant review—the food—didn't quite hit the mark for me. The meat, a central element of Mediterranean cuisine, was disappointingly tough and required considerable effort to chew. This was a significant drawback, as the tenderness and flavor of the meat are often indicators of the quality and authenticity of Mediterranean dishes.

While the restaurant did not offer the best Mediterranean food I've ever had, it was not without its merits. It served as a suitable spot for a quick bite, especially if you're on the run and looking for a clean place with decent service to refuel. That said, if you're seeking a culinary journey through the Mediterranean's rich flavors, there are other places that might better satisfy those cravings.

In conclusion, if you're in the area and in need of a quick, clean spot to eat with reliable service, this restaurant could fit the bill. However, for those on a quest for the most tantalizing Mediterranean dishes, it might be wise to explore...
