UPDATE: Per mgmt response to my review I was asked to submit their contact us page. No one responded to my message. Don’t bother. No one gives a sheet here, go to LONGHORN. Tonight we got seated at 7:30pm, we immediately placed our food and drink order together since itt ok 50 mins to get seated. Another 45 mins passed by. We didn’t get our salads. The waitress never got us peanuts or refilled our drinks. Another 15 mins pass by we asked for our Caesar she said we didn’t order salad. I’m like yes we did. Then she realized she didn’t enter our orders at all. I asked politely if she had forgotten to enter our orders and she admitted it. Then she tells us they ran out of the Prime Rib we wanted!!!!!!! Not only did we not get our food order placed but now we can’t even order what we came here for so we settled on ribeyes. We had been sitting there for over an hour like calm idiots.she finally got us our salads. We were very understanding and asked if we could take it to go as we weren’t hungry anymore. You know when you wait so dang long that you’re not even hungry? She said she would comp some of our check. I check our bill on the kiosk none of it was comped. Another 10 mins go by and we realized we weren’t ready to wait another 30 mins possibly 45 mins (they were really busy so that’s just a guesstimate on our part) and asked to cancel the food. She said we could leave. Not once did a manager come by to apologize or try to rectify the situation. She’s lucky we were former servers and didn’t put up a stink like most customers.we didn’t want to be like those people and we understood it’s a busy night. We just quietly left. The worst Texas Roadhosue experience. A good waitress would have refiledl the drinks or check on us during that whole time we were waiting for our non existent order. She never once got the manager to come over and just told us to leave. I didn’t want the manger to think we ran out on the bill for sodas and salads. But we just left because we had two dogs at home waiting for us. I get mistakes happen but come on. Didn’t refill our bread either. If you were an adequate waitress you would have tried to give us something to eat while we wait another hour for our food. Like refill our drinks and bread. Nope. Just went on her business. She should just tend the bar cuz she hung out there most of the night By the time we got home the anger wore off and we were starving it’s already like past 9pm like we couldn’t even go somewhere else and went to bed. Avoid the waitress with the long blonde hair and baseball cap if you actually want to eat something at this restaurant. I wish I was more stern with her I was too kind and showed too much grace when it wasn’t deserved. The manager later called but the phone kept breaking up. He asked if we ran out on the bill? I couldn’t make out why he was calling due to the reception but that’s what it sounded like. What bill? We had two sodas and two side salads. Thanks for a crappy night...
Read moreI’ve never felt so let down by a Texas Roadhouse location. We came to celebrate my toddler’s birthday, a special occasion we were really looking forward to, and left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and unwelcome.
I used the call ahead option and am fully aware of the policy that requires the whole party to be present before seating. That’s why I informed the staff in advance that three members of our group would be running late due to bad traffic, we live far away and planned accordingly. Despite this, once we were seated (and even served bread), the manager, a woman with brown hair, glasses, and a hat, came over and insisted we move because the section was “closing.” However, that clearly wasn’t true, as people continued to be seated in that exact area after we were told it was unavailable. It was only 4pm.
When the rest of our party arrived, there were open booths near us. But instead of seating them nearby, the staff purposely placed them all the way across the restaurant. We politely asked if they could be seated closer to us, especially since it was a birthday celebration, but the only solution offered was for our entire group to move, an option that made no sense since we were already settled. It felt very intentional and unaccommodating.
To make matters worse, the restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time. Staff clearly had time to stand around, gossip, and discuss our situation. We could hear the manager and hostesses talking about us unprofessionally, as we were within earshot. One of the hostesses was particularly dismissive, further adding to the overall disrespect. That level of disrespect was shocking and unacceptable.
We traveled a long way to this specific location because of positive past experiences, but after this, I honestly don’t see us returning. The lack of effort or care to accommodate a toddler’s birthday party, especially when there were available options, was incredibly disappointing. The only bright spot was our server, Andrew. He was kind, professional, and went out of his way to make our experience better despite the poor behavior of his coworkers. He deserves recognition for his excellent service.
Unfortunately, his effort wasn’t enough to overcome the lack of professionalism from the manager and hostess. This was our first terrible experience here, and sadly, it may...
Read moreWe visited this past Thursday, hoping it would be less crowded. Fortunately, we had our name on the waitlist and were seated almost immediately. Despite the quick seating, the restaurant was packed and extremely loud—especially when the waitstaff started dancing.
The hostess mentioned she’d bring us some rolls once more were available. About 5–10 minutes later, our waitress stopped by. We ordered drinks and asked again about the rolls. She returned with our beers, slammed them down on the table, told us she hates beer, and then wiped her hands on her pants—definitely not the most professional impression. We asked again about the rolls and got the same response the hostess gave.
When I picked up my beer glass, I noticed a hair stuck to the side. I tried hard not to get sick.
The waitress came back to take our food order, and we once again asked about the rolls—same answer. About 10 minutes later, a table next to us was seated and immediately given fresh rolls. With no sign of our waitress, my husband got up and grabbed some himself. No one said a word.
When our food arrived, my “medium well” steak was very rare. The server acknowledged it and took it back to cook more. My husband's steak was perfect, so he went ahead and ate. Fifteen minutes later, my steak came back—now well done and slightly burnt. By then, my husband had already finished eating, so I just ate a few pieces quickly and waited for the waitress to return so I could get a to-go container.
No surprise, she never came back till after we paid using the tabletop POS and had another server bring us a to ho container. She tried sweet talking us and hoped we enjoyed our meal. I quickly told her it was the worst meal I had in a very long time and we won't be back.
This location is too busy and has inexperienced waitstaff. The turn over is too quick to get a quality...
